68 /100 Smokehouse BBQ and Brews (Restaurant) 3121 OLD PHILADELPHIA PIKE Came here on 2.12.2017. Next to the main Amish visitor center and in the same building as the souvenir store. Very good food, had a pull pork and a spinach salad. 11 beers and 1 cider on tap, all from Pensylvania breweries. Had a Stoudt EBS and the Prima Pils from Victory. Absolutely recommendable if you are in the area to explore the Amish country. |
50 /100 3174 OLD PHILADELPHIA PIKE Came here 2.12.2017. Very touristic place only 500 meters from the large Amish tourist center. They have 4 beers for 7 $ each. I tried the Harvest Gold which was mediocre at the very best. |
74 /100 3174 OLD PHILADELPHIA PIKE Neat little place just after Intercourse. Barn red colored building. Plenty of parking. Lotsa wood inside. Hit the wine tasting first. Lady pouring was pretty damn generous. The beer is upstairs. Cool bar and table area. Service was decent as we were the only two in there. Beers here are really mediocre, inoffensive to the max! Tried the red,IPA and Stout. Fairly thin and uneventful. Didn’t try any food but I imagine its pretty bland like the beers. Neat setup all around though the wines were much tastier than the beers. Prices were fair, place was clean and well lit. Fairly clean pissery also. I’d stop in again if I was in the area but not going out of my way for it.More impressed with the wines and suppose that’s the reason for the high rating. |
60 /100 3174 OLD PHILADELPHIA PIKE Nice looking place, on a busy road in the middle of Amish country. The place looks like a refurbished barn, with the pub upstairs, and a winery store downstairs. The pub was clean, well lit. The staff was friendly and attentive. The beers were brewed on site and were...ok. They included a few ciders as well. Not terribly expensive. Growler fills, and bombers to go. Flights available. Not a bad experience, especially in this part of the world. |
