“Big bar and restaurant space, in the top floor a large building. Rustic, almost cajun, decor. Really nice old wood bar, embedded in resin with lights, which adds a cool vibe. The bartenders are quick and friendly. The selection is quite good, with a nice range of styles. Pretty good prices, but no samplers or flights. The food I had was fantastic. Fun spot, with a lot going on.“

“Took me a while to visit here, but made it for lunch one day. Food menu is interesting and I want to come back to try more of it. Beers I had were good ... no flights or small pours, smallest is a 1/2 pours.“

“Really cool brewery. Very unique taplist, no hazies! Most every beer they had on was under 6%, a lot under 5%. Saison heavy. Two hand pumps, Mliko Pils tap. Cool guest beers on too. Half price beers on Tuesday! Awesome place.“

Champps Americana (Restaurant)
51 TOWN CENTER DRIVE, STORE G-5
“The best quality about this place is that it’s a chain restaurant WITH AN ACTUAL BEER MENU! Most chains you only see the Bud’s, Coors’, Miller’s, Corona’s, a maybe a local flop like Yuengling or something similar. I have never been to another Champps, so I don’t know if this awesome beer selection is a standard across the company board. But this location has about three-dozen taps with a great selection of local micros and crafts. Sure, you have the usual macro crap like Bud, Miller, Coors, etc, but this location has definitely taken pride is providing real beer from real, local, craft, legit breweries. The food is pretty nice too. The chicken tenders, ahi tuna, chili, fries, jambalaya and burgers are all very good. The service is hit or miss; pretty typical of chain places like this. It all depends on the roll of the dice of who is assigned to your table or what bartender is on that night. The only other downside of this place is that the tv sound is way too loud. I realize it’s a sports bar first, but you could definitely tone down the volume of the broadcasts (unless it’s something like the Super Bowl or the Final Four - something that everyone is in to). Overall though, a great place to hang out with friends, get a bite to eat and enjoy some beer.“

“Excellent place for a night out with just the wife or a group of friends. The atmosphere is very laid-back and casual. The dining room is very warm and inviting. The food is excellent, especially the chicken marsala. The beer selection is also very good, with a ton of local selections always available.“

“Nice interior here, wood with a lot of Philadelphia sports paraphernalia. Service by the tuxedoed bartender was very good and friendly. The ravioli and salads were great, the beer selection was well above average, and the overall experience was very good.“

“This is my go to bottle shop. Decent prices, solid selection. There is little to no service level. Pretty much know what you like or pay for expertise elsewhere. You can get some great Bombers for $5.99 here.“

“Stopped for sushi on the way home from my nephew’s college basketball game. This place is hands down the coolest grocery store, beer mart, cafe combo I’ve ever seen. You can buy all your groceries here and prepared food (hot & cold) to eat in the cafe or to go. Now, more importantly, to the beer selection which was the best I’ve seen in PA. Everything is organized by country of origin or style with a special selection of local craft beers. You can buy cases, six pack, mixed six packs ($11.99), and singles all at the most reasonable prices I’ve seen anywhere in this area. We came away very impressed and will definitely drive the 20 or so miles in the future. I think this might become my "go to" place for ale from now on. We were there early Saturday evening and the place was packed, however, they had more than an adequate amount of staff and we only had to wait in line about five minutes to check out. One helpful hint, you must pay for your beer and prepared food separate from your groceries at a different set of checkout registers. They even had two kegs of craft beer where you could have growlers filled. I’m 61 years old with gray hair and they carded me!“

“I live less than 5 min from here. The selection is solide withlots of Allagash, Founder, Bells, Ithaca, Vodoo and tons of imports. The service sucks as they have no one who knows anything about beer. I once allerted them to an infected batch of Two Hearted and it was still on the shelf 4 days later. The prices are great with a 4 pack of Founders Double trouble going for $10.99. The set up is nice as they took overt the soda aisle and have beer stacked by the cashiers.“

“I was really excited when this store first opened back in October ’09, and I wasn’t disappointed. I’ve been back to pickup bottles and four and six packs ever since. It’s a great way to try some new beers. They have a pretty nice selection, with local stuff in the spotlight. They have plenty of Victory, Sly Fox and Philly beers. They also feature some really nice brews from the West Coast, like Port and Stone. Some other brewers that I’ve found here are Founders, Dogfish, Long Trail, Great Lakes and Rogue. They also feature a decent selection of imports. The prices are pretty reasonable as well. The service is usually pretty good, with at least one guy walking around the area that is available for questions. The store is in a great spot, too, just off Rt 422 in Collegeville between Pottstown and King of Prussia. I definitely try and stop in at least once a month to try some new beers and retaste some exisiting favorites.“

“Good selection, very good service, the food here is absolutely outstanding, and I’ve never seen better bottle prices in my life. Port stuf for 7 bucks a bottle, Sly Fox bombers almost the same price as getting them in the brewpub. I don’t know how they do it, but I’m glad they do.“
