“Visited here in late July ’15 while in the area for business. Large warehouse type liquor store that also has a large selection of gourmet type food items as well. Large selection of Texas craft in sixers and bombers, but sadly no singles. Beer is over on the left side, an entire wall full. Prices seem reasonable and the help was helpful but not overbearing.“

“They had some pretty good stuff and things that I couldn’t find anywhere else in the area but their prices are a little higher than elsewhere in town and their claim to have the biggest craft beer selection in Texas is far from true from what I seen. Maybe this store is just a smaller one than others but overall it was decent.“

“My go-to place for beer right now. It will be a while before I run out of options. Great staff willing to help you decide on a beer or four, whether you need to pair it with food or just want something new.“

“Decor is faux Irish pub but comfortable. Service is always good. Good selection of European beers, limited craft beers.“

“Nice place for dinner in the Live Oak area. Good pub fare with a decent selection on tap, including some nice local offerings like St. Arnold IPA. Good service and a relaxing place to watch sporting events.“

“Dropped by on my way to San Marcos looking for Ranger Creek beers and bourbon. Found both, along with a solid selection of beers. They’re not all in the same area, which is curious, but certainly worth a stop if you’re not from the area. PS - Bring cash for a discount.“

“I know that this store is still in it’s infancy. However, I expect more from Spec’s. It’s a far cry from the Houston (Smith St.) mother-ship and even the closest "mature" locations in Austin (Brodie Ln and Round Rock). During two visits, I was never offered any assistance (even though I did my best to look clueless and wandered for 10 to 15 minutes). Average cold selection and a sub-par "warm" bottle area. I expect this store to get better, but, at the moment it’s a "pass" when I’m heading into SA.“
