68 /100 1304 TEXAS BLVD Visited her in mid-May '21 on a Saturday night and the place was hopping with a country band playing. Wide open space, big group size tables and a long bar. Wood-fired pizza is the draw here, didn't eat this time around. Have about a dozed of there own and several guest taps as well. Several styles represented. I had a red ale and a stout, the red all needed some work and the stout was decent. Beers a bit price - $8 per, which seems to be the norm in this town. Friendly, hard working staff. |
70 /100 123 MAIN STREET Visited here in mid-May '21 on a Saturday night. Located in a restored old building with high ceilings in downtown Texarkana. Two sides, one sit down restaurant and the other side is a bar with several table tops as well. Have about a dozen of their own on tap. Several styles represented, the two I had were decent, not overwhelming. Short gastropub menu, I had a Raspberry Chipotle Burger and it was excellent. Service was decent. Prices a bit high, $8 pints? is this a post -Covid thing? |
