“th a small parking lot. There was an upstairs as well as a large front porch deck, both closed on a fairly slow Saturday afternoon in June. They take reservations on Resi or you can walk in. The taplist was just OK, very Vermont focused with some regional favorites like Schilling and Jacks Abbey. Service was friendly and quick, with occasional long lines because everyone has to order from the small seving bar. Food was decent. A worthwhile place while you're in town.“

“Pretty clean and serviceable sort of family owned store. Selection is Vermont breweries that bottle or can with the exception of HF, Alchemist and Lawson’s. Some other New England offerings along with Ommegang, Dogfish Head, and Stone. Decent size for liquor and wine, I will admit that. Not a bad place if you have to take your kids in.“

“Nice little family owned store that offers a pretty nice selection of Vermont breweries that bottle or can. New England breweries are represented pretty well too. Some of the larger respected commercial breweries are represented. Pretty clean store, but I did notice a fair amount of little knick knack type of stuff fairly easy for little kids to grab, I feel the need to mention that since I’m a parent.“

“What my friend PubofLyons is trying to say below me is that Vermont is an odd state, we pack our beers here wherever we can find space for them. Since dispersion is weird, this clean little place on the other side of the state from me isn’t a bad stop to find some beers you probably won’t find out of the New England states. And I do agree with PubofLyons, this isn’t the cheapeast of places in Vermont.“

“Not a bad place to get some beers. It’s nothing special, the usuals ie Rock Art, Otter Creek, Long Trail, Goodwater, Queen City, some Foley Brothers. Also, some Smuttynose, Mayflower, Sixpoint, and Foolproof. Easy to take kids in here too.“

“This place is an oddity with a decent beer selection as well as a wide array of growler fill-up opportunities. I mean, this place rents video games and DVD’s. So I guess if you want a beer and a movie this is the place to go. They have a good selection of New England regionals. I live in New Hampshire about an hour from this store so I will take the trip from time to time to pick up some Vermont beer that I cannot get in New Hampshire. Kind of pricey though.“

“We decided to stop past Worthy Kitchen for dinner given Leighton’s high praise for their original "burger" outpost. It’s the sort of place that typifies Vermont -relaxed, friendly and liberal. It is a laid-back restaurant and bar with a local vibe that offers high quality food and drink. 18 Taps of beer on offer from predominantly local breweries – Hill Farmstead, Fiddle Head, Lost Nation etc. There was also a small bottle and can selection which included some cider and mead. To eat I opted for the premium fried chicken, salad and a selection of house pickles. It was delicious. Exceptional quality all-round. A must visit.“

“Coupled with the Worthy Burger this is one my favorite places to drink beer in the world. Love it. Only downside is that it gets pretty busy and can be hard to find a seat.“

“Plain and simple, you come here for the beer. With a typical lineup that includes Hill Farmstead, Lawson’s Finest and Fiddlehead, you can’t go wrong.“

“Clean, new looking store with a nice selection, especially of local northern New England beers. I did think the prices were a little on the high side for Vermont, but still reasonable.“

“Very Vermont type of place, almost like a cafeteria style bar and restaurant. Great selection of draft beer, mostly from northern New England and upstate NY. Very good food and very good prices, at least by my standards. Definitely worth a trip if you’re in the area.“

“Great beer and wine selection. Growler fills. Large selection of beers from all over. Knowledgable owner, great location. Great tourist area in one of Vermont’s most scenic townships. Near skiing, golf, biking, hiking and several brewers close by including Alchemist, Lawson’s and Hill Farmstead“

“Stopped by on a recent East Coast trip. Extensive tap list that featured several Vermont Beers and good food. Very casual setting with knowledgeable bartenders and attentive staff. “

“Not a huge selection but a respectable one. Good assortment of local Vermont beers, and others are organized logically. Nice country store atmosphere. A mix-your-own sixer (5 Vermont beers, one Belgian) and two bombers was $38. Certainly worth a stop if in the area.“

“Out of nowhere comes a nice little home to some good beers and some affordable prices on some good wines. I was shocked to come across this place and it mysterious back room with a random variety of beer. It had all of the local specials: Wolvar, Mc Neil’s and then topped it off with a full line of Stone, Dog Fish a bunch of Belgians etc... Compared to what is around you can’t go wrong here,“

“This store right in the village of Woodstock sells all kinds of stuff besides beer, but in a room near the back there is an area (although small) that would interest the beer lover. There are shelves with offerings such as McNeill’s, Rock Art, Ayinger and Westmalle. The coolers located several paces away are stocked with six-packs of the more ubiquitous Long Trail, Harpoon and Otter Creek.“

“All the beer is in the cooler, so that’s not usually a good sign. They have the usual 6-packs of Long Trail, Otter Creek, Harpoon, RockArt etc. A few interesting bombers like the Otter Creek Cuckoo Bock that I bought but that was about it. Smallish selection and not really a great store for beer geeks. They seem to have more for the liquor and wine folks.“
