78 /100 16015 JOHN MARSHALL HWAY BROAD RUN, VA 20137 703.753.3548 We found this place by accident - we were driving by on Route 66 and looking for a place to stop for lunch when we saw the sign for the brewery, which was conveniently located only a mile and a half from the highway. They have a great operation here featuring a large barn-like building that houses the brewery and a very large seating area. Plenty of room outside as well. They had some bar food (pizza, popcorn, corndogs, etc) availale, but they also had a food truck outside. They had live music when we stopped by (on a Saturday afternoon). They had about 12 or 14 beers on tap when we visited and they were all pretty solid. They seem to lik eto experimet with different styles or different variations - they had three versions of their milk stout (one with jalaepnos and coffe and one with chocolate and bananas). They also had a braggot (the Virginia Viking) that was quite good. It's a great place and well worth a visit. |
