“Friendly place good for a stop in Luray after tubing, caving or hiking. Most of their beers are pretty decent. Friendly service, and flights available. Nice big patio for fine weather. Some guys selling crab cakes and other seafood were set up inside, but I wasn't hungry so didn't indulge. Worth a stop if in the area.“

“Decent sized taproom with 8 beers on tap. I think the flight was $14. One bartender was friendly, the other was standoffish, and burped a few times (loudly) and didn't seem to want to be bothered. All of the beer was average at best, some of it had some chemical taste. Only worth the trip if you're in the area.“

“EDITING THIS TO ADD: One of the beers I picked up was "best by" over a year ago, one has been out of production for a year and a half... so let's say freshness is an issue here. Look closely at dates if the bottles have them. Due to this, I'm knocking this rating down a bit. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Interesting place. Have to say it's run by old hippies (I'm hoping that's not offensive), as this place has all sorts of weird shit. Crystals, trinkets, beer, wine, random stuff, essential oils, etc. The place is weird - it's basically a house with multiple rooms and stuff everywhere. I didn't see a soul in the first three rooms I wandered through. I turned a corner and a nice lady was standing there and asked if I needed help - I did. She pointed me to the wine/beer/honey room and said all the beers were single-able. Most of them were already broken up. and empty six and four packs lined the bottom of the shelf. Weird selection... some local stuff, some random stuff I've never seen I'm sure will taste awful, interesting imports - both good and bad, some standard craft, and some harder to find craft beers, or at least stuff I haven't seen in C-ville in awhile. Prices seem very reasonable. Worth a stop if you're right there and want to find some oddballs to tick, or just to have a look around at this very interesting place.“

“Shenandoah Valley continues to add breweries to the landscape. Hawksbill is a nice addition. Brewing operation is front and center in a modern style taproom. Somewhat noisy inside, nice industrial outside seating area when weather permits. Standard selection of beers, but tasty. Worth the visit if in the area.“

“If you're in Luray, this is the place to go for beer (it's the only brewery. 55 East Main St Grill had some decent taps on). Just off of Main St, nice open space with a large bar and plenty of tables, outdoor seating. It was quite full when I visited, No TVs, no food. They had 6-8 taps on, mostly your basic styles, and they were pretty decent. They also had an option to infuse coffee into one of their beers, which I didn't try but could be interesting. Overall, it's a decent stop and if you're in Luray, I'd definitely stop here.“

“nice modern taproom, tables and chairs outside as well; god location in downtown Luray; no restaurant, although they were serving some BBQ when we came through and they had some snacks available; my daughter enjoyed playing the oversized connect 4 game while I enjoyed a flight“
