“Visited right at opening hour on a Friday afternoon. Really cool, Exceptionally-remodeled space in an old industrial space in an old industrial downtown on the verge of an epic comeback. Big outdoor space coupled with a room indoor, two-story seating area and a 15-seat bar (or so). About 15 beers on tap, plus a cooler full of cans to go. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Limited food menu (mostly brick oven pizza), but good, too! Definitely worth a detour to check it out! Brewery #1008.“

“Very cool place south of Richmond, just off the I95 if you're heading north or south. Very cool setup in an old industrial area, brick buildings surrounding. Inside is cool set up and the outside is even cooler. I like the haunted houseboat. Also a beer store right next door, though it wasn't open when I visited it looked good. Pizza was OK. Beers were all pretty well done. This place is definitely worth stopping by if in the area. No flights available during COVID but some tastes offered. Their cherry sours were particularly good. Prices a little on the high side.“

“Small bottle shop in the center of downtown. Local beers and ciders are up front and there's a small room in the back with foreign stuff. Three or four growler taps too. There is a lot of space but not so many beers, and what is stocked is mainly common craft from larger breweries, except for a few small local breweries. Prices were fine. Not very exciting.“

“Large place in a characterful older building in downtown Petersburg, an interesting town that looks like it was bombed about a week ago - it was actually bombed in the Civil War but it doesn't look like they've rebuilt very much. Anyway, there's a bar on one side that faces a wood fired pizza oven, and the rest are restaurant tables, with the brewhouse visible through glass on one side. Nice outdoor space with picnic tables, some covered, in what used to be a parking lot probably. Beers were so-so, definitely in need of fine-tuning, and I did not try the pizza. Worth a look only if you're in Petersburg anyway.“

“Not bad for a bar. Ok selection of craft beers. Food is not bad. Service is hit or miss.“

“New brewery in Petersburg. This is a converted ice storage building in downtown area. There was a large TV on the wall visible throughout the taproom. There is also a large tasting area on the second floor. The outside patio had heat lamps and tables. You can order pizza while you are there. It is also a short walk from Croaker Spot an excellent restaurant. They offer sodas for non beer drinkers..“

“Pizza was good. Beer was decent but not great, and the IPAs weren?t that good. Our bartender was good with us, but I?m pretty sure the people next to us were off-duty employees and they were making fun of customers with the on-duty staff and had a generally shitty attitude. There were flies- gross! I will give this place a second chance and amend my rating if they improve because they have potential.“

“Small, family friendly restaurant that appears to be trying hard to please the beer snob crowd crowd, but , with limited, but interesting selection. Didn’t try the food, but there were a couple of happy looking families there on the Sunday night I was there.“
