“Place rating #500! A quick drive over the border from DC, went here when the Brits invaded the United States. Solid place to grab some WV ticks. They do a wide variety of styles and 20ish beers on tap and more in a fridge to go. I actually ordered beer to pick up a few days prior, which was ready to go. Staff was very friendly. Food was pretty tasty too.“

“Small place in a small town about an hour from DC, but the setup is pretty cool, with a separate dining area from the bar as well as an outdoor patio, even an AirBnB upstairs if you book early enough. Service was great, friendly, knowledgeable enough, and there with suggestions when you need it. Beer was decent, nothing overly amazing, but nothing so bad you couldn't drink it, and the styles ran the gambit from a mild and IPAs to sours and flavored imperial stouts. Definitely worth a stop because its the only brewery in the town, but if you're looking for a country retreat from DC, also might be worth the drive.“

“Nice tasting room in downtown Charles Town. They had 9 beers on tap when I was there plus one or two guest taps. All of the beers were decent and the staff was friendly. They served flatbread pizzas which went well with the beer. Worth a visit.“

“Only an hour from DC but a world away. Located in the heart of the historic district in a vintage building, the vibe was friendly with a mostly attentive server and some good tunes playing. The BBQ pizza was delicious. The beers ranged from okay to very good, with the best ones being guest taps.“
