80 /100 102 RAILROAD AVENUE Pole barn with a rustic interior, bar and barrel tables. Extensive patio. Good service, decent beer.More taps than I would have imagined. Just St on the other side of the tracks from the town. |
86 /100 102 RAILROAD AVENUE Visited on a Saturday early afternoon during the Pandemic. Despite that, there were a few other visitors. I had placed an order online for some cans and growlers. When I arrived, I ordered a couple more growlers that weren't available to purchase online. Everything I ordered was actually very good. I wasn't a fan of the IPA, but that's more because I don't care for that style anyway, but ordered it to try as much as I could. I especially enjoyed their lagers. They had a Czech Pilsner and a Kolsch in cans, as well as a Baltic Porter. The bartender working was very friendly and patient with us. My group had about 10 growler fills. The place itself is pretty big. It is a large warehouse style building with an even bigger patio area. I would like to visit on a normal occasion to see how it is then. I suspect it is a pretty cool vibe. The town itself is pretty small. It may be the only operating business that sells food and beverage in Terra Alta. |
