The Wine Basket (Beer Store)
1509 GRAND CENTRAL AVE, STE 11
“Location is off of grand central avenue and behind a strip mall (toward the Ohio River). The place is mostly about wine, however they have a few shelves dedicated to craft beer. One great thing about this place is selection of singles. Lady working pointed me in the direction of the craft beer and listened to me talk about her selection. They only have about 100 different beers, but the quality of beers selected is pretty good. I bought a fresh bottle of Hoptimum, however I should have paid closer attention to JStax review and gotten a sixer.“

The Wine Basket (Beer Store)
1509 GRAND CENTRAL AVE, STE 11
“Stopped in here after seeing a sign that said "Wine and Beer" with an arrow pointing behind a building on my way to dinner. I knew the Wine Basket sold wine and cheese primarily, but they relocated to a larger location, and decided to pick up craft beer as well. Knowing the quality and service of them before they started selling beer, I figured they may be just a great with beer. Upon further investigation, I found my assumptions true. My friend and I walked in the door to be greeted by the cashier sitting right inside and was directed to the beer section to find what is hands down the best selection in all of Parkersburg and Vienna. They also offer a 10% discount for building a mixed six-pack, something I’ve not seen anywhere else. The build your own six-pack isn’t just limited to 12 ounce bottles, either. It includes bombers and 750s as well. Prices are reasonable and in line with the area. Parking is fairly sufficient. A note to anyone trying to find this place, it’s behind and underneath a strip mall across from the Fusion Japanese Steak House. I have to say, this place is worth a stop if your in the area and in need of beer.“
