98 /100 Artesia Liquor (Beer Store) 13315 ARTESIA BLVD Great beer selection! |
70 /100 Cerritos Market & Liquor (Grocery Store) 12606 SOUTH ST Looks like your typical corner liquor store from the outside. However, this place has about 8 cold box doors full of beer. About 5 of these are dedicated to craft brews. The great thing about this place is that it is not yet super well known outside of the community and some hard to get releases sit in the fridge for awhile after they are sold out elsewhere. The negative thing about this is that some more commonly seen craft beers can sit for awhile and be well past their date. Introduce yourself to Bobby and ask if they have anything special in. Some things are definitely overpriced, but usually only by a dollar or so.This place also has a full wall of spirits and an aisle of wine. Food is your typical selection of candy and chips. Solid place. |
74 /100 Shipmates Restaurant & Sports Bar (Restaurant) 11424 SOUTH ST Hole in the wall in a small strip mall. They keep about 30 beers on tap most of them being craft beer’s along with some seasonals Most of the bartenders are knowledgeable and can help you find one to your liking. They were on top of things and were always ready to pour another cold one. Food was decent for bar food. Huge nachos plate if you really want to grub. |
92 /100 Shipmates Restaurant & Sports Bar (Restaurant) 11424 SOUTH ST If you are into beer, food and sports then you can’t go wrong giving shipmate’s location. Worth checking out when in the Cerritos/Lakewood/Cypress area |
84 /100 BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse - Cerritos (Restaurant) 11101 183RD ST This was the second location i’ve been to. I had a good experience at the Huntington Beach location, and I had a nice time at this location as well. The food was excellent (pasta), and the hefeweizen was still enjoyable. A nice place to take the family. |
