This was intended to be a dinner stop after a day at Carrizo Plain NM looking at wildflowers. We arrived at near 7PM to find out they were having a beer party and the restaurant was closed. Turned out ok as we tried a couple of beers and found a nice place for dinner a short distance away. This is a restaurant (AZU) connected to a bar/brewpub (Ojai Valley). Your first introduction is to the bar area, with a long wooden bar and some tables about. Kind of nice hardwood decor. There is a room in back that is more of a party room, and then a restaurant beyond that. Pretty crowded for the party. Unfortunately the beer was pretty meh, but this seems like it has potential as a dinner/beer stop if you are in the Ojai area.“ |

The beer selection was great, I was looking for some of the harder to find brews and I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly and very helpful, I will be coming back very soon to try the food and some of the beers on tap.“ |

They have a huge beer selection, along with several micros on tap to try. Great service, beautiful store, if you’re in the area, it’s your best bet. The prices were a bit higher than I pay in Orange County, but this is an out of the way place.“ |
