“I was always a fan of the old O'so -- except when the 20 bar stools and 10 tables filled up and there was little room to maneuver. So this s-p-r-e-a-d o-u-t version of O'soland is a very nice upgrade. On a Friday evening with medium traffic, four beertenders were quick to serve everyone around the asymetric bar and happily provided tasters whenever requested (and even when not!). There were 23 O'so taps (great variety -- flights of 4 4-oz glasses for $12) and a sufficient number of N.A. and soft drink offerings to keep designated drivers quenched. The new homemade pizza kitchen was open (it has limited hours) and making tasty 16-inch pizzas and a few sandwiches. A musician was strumming out songs and the Stanley Cup was on the enormous projection screen TV hanging in front of the brewing area. Against one wall was many different cases of O'so for carryout and a few bargain bottles were available, too. Nice step forward, O'so!“

“This is the newest O'so location, and, it's massive. Huge brewery visible from a cavernous tasting room. Beer history, breweriana, and train cars on the walls. 25ish people at the huge bar with lots of open chairs. Band was playing, but the space is big enough that it wasn't too loud and it was pleasant. Bartenders were both friendly and helpful. Tons of taps. 20+ for sure. Lots of to go options, including singles. Lots the styles. Beers aren't trendy... yet... but this is now a destination brewery. Mikey's will be next door and greatly expanded in about 10 months. Neighbors again as they were across the street. And all that's walking distance from the Comfort Inn I'm currently in that's an easy walk away. Stop here.

EDIT: Forgot to mention. I never went into a Shopko because they went bankrupt before I move to WI (or maybe just after). They are in every decent sized town as hollow, vacant shells. Not in Plover. This is a former Shopko that's being turned into a new 20 business retail space called "Artists & Fare." O'so and Mikey's will be anchors. They're really doing it well, so far. Look forward to seeing what this turns into.“

“No, not my store. ;) Small but good selection. Beer is to the right. Smallish but well stocked BYO six pack. Individually priced and 10% off if you get six. Cramped in a good way. Prices good. Plenty of parking in a small strip mall. Shopkeeper was quiet but friendly. Overall worth a stop if in town.“

“Stopped by a second time today, 11/27/21. Different bartender, but once again excellent. Tried the food this time... not great but pretty good. Still friendly with samples. Rarities still Lots of taps and excellent selection. Plover's an odd town to have a destination beer bar, but, this place is pretty damn close. Score going way up.

Original rating 5/4/2019, 3/5/12/13/70: Literally next door to O'so, so this was a no brainer. Upscale bar and restaurant. Pricy plates but the beer prices are very Midwest. Nice tap list. Heavy local focus, with rarities such as several Central Waters barrel-aged offerings. No flights but generous with small samples. Hilariously one of the bartenders was very enthusiastic about the tap list and kept giving me free samples trying to guess one I hadn't had before. It was fun. Annoying music playing. Did not try the food. Overall, well worth a 1-2 or 2-1 punch with O'So before you check into the Hampton Inn in the same parking lot.“

“A smallish bar/restaurant in a strip mall a bit off 39. The place has a few TVs with a bar on one side of the restaurant, seating on the other and a few outdoor seat out front. Service was a bit slow and inattentive plus one server (not ours) was particularly loud and obnoxious. A good number of beers on tap and a nice mix of locals and non locals. Flights were available. Food was decent (mainly burgers) but a bit on the steep side for what it was. A decent spot but not worth going out of the way for.“

“Best homebrew shop I’ve ever been to. Substantial selection and honest pricing makes this a must if you are a homebrewer in central Wisconsin. Helpful staff.“

“The Selection category doesn’t really apply here because the beer sampling you do is technically done right next door at the O’so brewery. This may be the first or second homebrew shop I’ve been to, so I don’t really have a frame of reference. Reasonably well laid out pretty basic. They have wine making kits available as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful and, since the owner of PBS is also part owner of O’so, they share staff. It was the PBS cashier that poured the O’so beer samples. Definitely worth a visit if you are a homebrewer, aspiring wine maker or simply just want to try and/or buy O’so brews.“
