“Brewery & Restaurant. Über 20 taps. Leckeres Essen, gute Biere. Und ein Werbeschild der Haller Löwenbräu. Da geht mir doch das Herz auf…😁“

“Stopped in on a Saturday night, and it was packed. Cool, open bar area in the middle, and homey ambiance throughout. The bartenders and servers were overworked, but friendly and helpful enough. The food was fantastic! The food is a bit pricy, but not too bad, and the beer is well priced. They don’t do flights, that I could tell, but they offer short pours and half pints. This was a fortuitous place to stumble across, and we’ll probably find ourselves here again.“

“I would say this place an upscale smaller version of Dillon Dam. The beers are about the same quality but the food is a step up, more than just bar food and delicious. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a nice, more expensive, meal.“

“Been here many times. It’s a better resturant than it is a brewery. Their beer isn’t bad by any means but nothing too special, they do have many different options. The food is really good and relatively affordable for Summit County. The space is really great, a big bar area and upper level. It has one of the best window resturant views of the mountains I’ve ever seen. This place gets really busy, but they move things along. Worth a stop forsure.“

“Clean and well organized, very nice staff, super friendly and helpful. Selection is good for where you are, there was a Ballast Point tasting even going on while we were there! Prices are decent, and they hold onto some rares for a while due to the location. Overall, best place in the mountains to stock up for the ski trip.“

“This is a good sized brewpub that was very busy on a Wednesday afternoon. The atmosphere feels like being in a chain brewpub. Lots of patrons were at tables ordering food and the bar was pretty much full. The beer selection was pedestrian during my visit, but it looks like they rotate some neat stuff in and out. I tried the stout and had a sip of the peach pilsner. Beer seems serviceable, but it’s hard to get an idea of a brewery’s offerings merely based on two such beers. The food was well priced and quite good pub grub. I had the chicken fried chicken and was pleased with it. Dillon Dam really fits the whole persona of Dillon city.“

“This is an old brewpub with furnishings that show its age, but I think that gives the place a little character. The wooden bar is relatively small with a couple TVs behind. There is a large patio outside and plenty of seating in the dining area. The selection of beers was respectable. They covered their bases pretty well. I only tried the jalapeno stout on my visit and it was a well made beer. Beers run $4.50 a pint which is very fair. Decent stop, especially given the town it’s in.“

“Visited for lunch on a Friday. The place is much larger than it looks from the outside, with a nice patio out front, a bar area as you enter, and a large restaurant area past the bar. 7 beers available on draft, with cans of the Helles, Dunkel and Pilsener available to go in cans. The food menu is traditional brewpub; the dry rub Cajun wings were great. Service was friendly, fun and attentive. Pug Ryan also runs the Tiki bar at the Dillon marina, which is a great spot.

70 = ★★½ (Locals should check it out, visitors with extended time)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.“

“A large and rambling place with a nice vibe. Very friendly staff with good knowledge of the beers being served. Flights of 5 four oz pours available. We only tried the baked stuffed mushroom appetizer, but it was very good. Of the three summit county breweries, this was our favorite.“

“Cool place in Dillon down the street from Keystone and not far from Breckenridge. I liked the atmosphere that had a style of the old west with a touch of a hunting lodge. Plenty of beers on tap to try, and while not amazing, I did enjoy them more than anything on tap at Dillon Dam, Backcountry, and Breckenridge. Good variety of styles and solid recipes. Didn’t try food, but the menu had some things that sounded delicious. Cool place and my top choice of the few brewpubs in Summit County. Seemed less touristy than the others as well with a group of local regulars filling out the bar. A place I’ll certainly go back to while in the area.“

“Cool little joint right down the road from Dillon Dam Brewery. Decor is very mountain lodgey, but they recently renovated and they have a much larger bar area and outdoor space, which is great during the summer. Didn’t eat but got a chance to try a number of different beers - all of which were very solid. The quality of beers at this place was very surprising and it is definitely worth checking out. Cool atmosphere and if you only have time for one stop in Dillon, make it this place and scroll past Dillon Dam Brewery.“

“Medium-sized brewpub in Dillon, CO just down the road from Pug Ryan’s. Stopped in for lunch and the food was pretty tasty. Service was good and the place seemed clean. Fairly busy for a Wednesday afternoon in the middle of the summer. Beers were mediocre to below-average and if I return I will definitely focus on the "darker" styles. They seem to struggle with pales and lagers. Ok to grab a sampler and some food, but Pug Ryan offers much higher quality beer about 3 minutes away.“

“Decent brewpub in Summit County typically offering a dozen house beers. The standard lineup is mediocre and too much like the dozens of other brewpubs trying to offer one of each style. Seasonal beers tend to be much better and flavorful. Food is solid, but nothing memorable. Not a bad place to relax and grab a few beers while waiting on the I-70 ski traffic to go away.“

“Stopped in on the way home from Breckenridge. The brewery was very clean and accommodating to all demographics. The service was awesome, but the food was even better. Quite honestly one of the best burgers I have ever eaten! 8 of us eat an we all were very happy with the food and service. Their beer menu was pretty good too. I had their lager, which was fantastic! I would highly recommend this place!“

“Visited for lunch with the family. As you enter, there is a large U shaped bar, with table seating all around and a loft area with additional seating. They had about 8-9 beers on when I visited, available as pints, or 4 oz tasters. Tasters were $1.50 each, which was pretty fair. I tried 4 different beers, and had a buffalo burger, which was quite good. Beers were fresh and free of flaws. Server was knowledgeable and friendly. They accommodated the kids well with crayons and activities, as well as a "wishing well" sort of thing at the end. Overall, good spot for a meal, or to watch the game.“

“Visited mid afternoon in July. Busy shop, quite a bit of beer in the cooler. The selection of local bombers and six packs was solid, as were the prices. The import selection was a lot less, and they did not have any of the everyday beers singled out. This reminded me of Antlers in Frisco, with about the same selection, and perhaps slightly better selection. Certainly worth a stop if in Summit county.“

“so it’s a brewery in a double-wide, crowded with locals, offering a somewhat wide selection of styles but they absolutely dropped the ball on their saison and pils. not a good sign. loud, crowded, low-ceilinged interior and an american pub fare menu that made me lose my appetite.“

“Nice little store in Dillon with a slightly better selection than Antlers over in Frisco. If you blew through Denver without picking up a micro for your hike/fishing/camping trip, Dillon Ridge will take care of you. Friendly staff, good selection of super-local brews (Backcountry, Dillon Dam, and Pug Ryans), Colorado micros, and plenty of the standard California/Oregon goodness. By far my favorite place to shop in this mountain town/tri-city area!“

“The selection of beer was average, the food was OK, but the service was terrible. We got seated and waited around for more then an hour to get our food. The waitress had forgotten to put in our order. She was nice about it and gave us a discount plus some free munchies but it sort of ruined the whole night.“

“Almost a suburban setting in the mountains. Food menu geared toward pub food but a good range of food. Beer menu with the "standard" beers-nothing that borders on edgy here. Good service from our server. Worth a stop if on I-70 but not exactly a beer geek location.“

“I sat at the bar, had pints of the Hefeweizen, McLuhrs Irish Stout and Extra Pale Ale. All were good true-to-style beers, neither excetionally good or bad. They had eight beers on tap, the Hef & Stout were seasonals. I had the barbecue pork platter. Again, well-executed but not exceptional. The place is large and open, but also had a lot of "nook-and-cranny" side rooms probably good for private parties. “

“Nice atmosphere, much more like a casual restaurant than a bar or brewery though. A good number of taps carry the variety that Dillon puts out each year, including some gold-medal winning varieties. In the summer, this is a great place to grab a beer and soak up some sun after a day of climbing in the Rockies.“

“I almost didn’t go here because of the bad reviews on this site, but I did anyway because Dillon Dam brewery boes not fill up other breweries’ growlers. In fact, they gave me a little hell about it here, but still filled up my growler for $7.00, which was a good price. I liked the atmosphere, I didn’t think it was too dark at all. The bartender and someone I took to be the brewer or owner seemed pretty cool. I didn’t eat here, but it smelled really good. Their beer selection was not great, they had their Pilsner, Nitro Porter, Scottish Ale, and Pale ale on tap. I had my growler filled with the Scottish Ale, and it was very good. They did tell me that there would be a Saison coming out soon for seasonal release.“

“Great place, was there totally by accident, noticed the fermenters in the window as I passed it when I was actually looking for the Dillon Dam Brewery. Went in and in no time I was talking to some locals and the brewer. Very nice people, great ambiance.....If I would live there, I’d be there all the time....well not all the time, since they don’t have my favorite beers....but anyway...great place, highly recommend it.“

“Went for apres-ski back in January. Nice space around the bar but we sat in the back with a window on the fermenter. Food was good. The beer was good; the extra pale ale was a 3-3.5 but the winter warmer was a bit off. A great location to scoop the weekend, recreation Summit County commute off I-70.“

“hours are terrible. Opens at 4. Cool bar area with a fire pit in the middle. Very small and has a homey feeling. The beers are average. Only had the hot wings. They were good but you can get better at the Snake River Saloon at Keystone. Kind of dark and an older crowd. Not very modern. Only five beers on tap when I was there. Really is probably the worst in the area.“

“A good selection of Colorado micros including: Oskar Blues, Dillon Dam, Backcountry, New Belgium and all of the line-up from Odell. Out of the six liquor stores I stopped at while in CO, this is the only place to have the limited release Odell Imperial Stout. Easy access from I-70 and just across Dillon Ridge Road from Dillon Dam Brewpub.“
