“Eagle is an interesting mountain town. Its fairly close proximity to Vail without actually having any skiing itself gives it an interesting suburban, tourist, rural vibe with some bougie hints. Bonfire encompasses all this well. The taproom is very alpine themed and straightforward. They have bar games, a patio, comfortable bar seating, etc. The beer is fine. I hesitate to describe a beer portfolio as average or boring in a condescending way, but that sums up Bonfire. The Scottish ale wasn't bad but could use a little more conditioning, the lavender wit is a decent idea but the spice comes across as blunt and intrusive, the pale ale is pretty good but lacks the refinement of so many pale ales in the mountain towns along I-70, so on so forth. Eagle isn't a beer mecca by any stretch so Bonfire is most certainly worth a stop. They have late hours by the standards of this small town so that's also helpful and that crisp mountain air is always a plus.“

“Bonfire is easy to find right off I-70 and sports a tap room and patio. We waited a long time for service as it seemed the waitress did not see the two new people sitting at the bar, and almost left before being recognized. The beers were average and forgettable. With 7 Hermits opening across town the crowd here may dwindle.“

“Nice taproom off I-70 with a patio and firepit in the back of the building. Great selection of brews from Bonfire. Prices were reasonable. I would definitely go again. No food, but they keep menus from local places that deliver.“

“A cool looking and fun brewery with a nice patio out back. Live band playing bluegrass while we were there. Service was ok but the beer was off. Most of it tasted oxidized, watery, and over mineralized. The I2PA was the best of the beers we sampled.“

“NIce spot off the frontage road in Eagle. Opens around 5:30 pm every day. Dark wood, warm ambiance, obligatory dog to keep you company and a decent tap selection of on-site brews.... some canned to go.“

“brand new in late 2010. three beers on tap, more to come, seemed like your typical american brewery recipes. smallish system. tastes like homebrew; they probably will dial it in a bit over the coming months. very nice and inviting people.“
