“Stopped in on the way to the National Monument. Nice, clean, austere interior decor, with a lot of seating. Not a lot of outdoor space that I saw, though. The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable. Quality tap list, and they offer crowlers and several of their beers in 16 oz. cans. The food looked tasty, from what I saw, but I didn't eat anything. Quality new brewery.“

“A nice modern decor brewery. Lots of seating inside or on the patio. Food is a food truck on the patio, consisting of burgers and sandwiches. The beers I had were all very well made and tasty. Friendly service and the place was spotless. I think this is the best beer in Grand Junction. There is another new brewery (Monumental Beer Works), but they are closed today so I couldn't try them.“

“Large place with bar at the center. It has a fairly large beer garden in the back. Good choice of beers, 30+ taps, Palisade NE IPA was good as well as the Crooked Stave sours. Had some pub food which was good. Probably the best place in town.“

“Medium sized store with large cold room. Beer selection is OK, decent selection of locals. Empty space on shelves is noticeable, seems that this shop has seen better days. I've managed to find several interesting beers, but I'd say a lot of usual suspects and less interesting beers.“

“Visited in the afternoon on our way to Ale House. Large place with patio outside. We sat at the bar for two quick beers. 12 taps, quality of the beer was sub standard. Not a must visit.“

“Kind of a restaurant/sport bar vibe, and located on the main drag in Grand Junction. The 2 beers I had were pretty good, and the food was serviceable as well.“

“Of the two brewpubs in Grand Junction this is the one that feels even more like a big chain. It almost feels like stepping into a Rock Bottom just with the music turned down way low. The beer selection isn't exactly extensive but it covers enough ground. I had the pale ale which was expectedly old-school and to style and really impressed me. There isn't a plethora of beer destinations in Grand Junction so it's certainly worth stopping by for a pint.“

“Any town could use a token brewpub offering pizza, right? No surprises here. They had a good variety of beers available including lagers, Belgians, barleywine, and a few bottles of sour ales. So you can expect more than just the most common ales. The beer is pretty solid as I've experienced in the past, though this is my first time drinking it from the source. I didn't eat on this visit. Prices are quite good, then again I'm coming down from Denver so it's all perspective.“

“Stopped in on a recommendation. The dining room was pretty busy for Monday at lunchtime. Pretty standard look and feel. The server was very quick and friendly, and knew the beer list by heart, which is nice. Sadly, the list on the tables is woefully out of date, so most of her spiel was explaining what beer had replaced the ones on the menu, and the long list of seasonals. Pretty nice list of beers, with an interesting spread of styles. Cheap prices, which is always nice. $5.50 for a flight of four! Overall, this is a fun location, and they seem to be doing well. It's not very close to I-70, but it's worth wandering over to it.“

“Nice central location on Main Street. Arrived at 8 PM on a Wednesday, after happy hour and the live music. It was pretty quiet and the outdoor seating was closed for the evening. Still, the beers were quite good as was the food.“

“Pleasan place with outdoor seating to enjoy warm summer nights. Friendly service. Based on my sample of four beers, the beers are pretty unexceptional. Did not have food.“

“Visited here while staying in Fruita, CO on vacation. Liquor store has a college town vibe, but selection was pretty good. Thumbs up for doing mix and match six packs, was able to get stuff from local breweries as well as some relatively hard to find breweries from other states (got my first WY beer from here). Definitely would recommend a visit here if you’re traveling in the area. Bring a sweater, because you’ll wanna spend some time in that cooler and man does it get cold!“

“Had lunch here on a Monday in early December while in the area for business. Production facility with a small dining area, bar and kitchen. Nice and airy with no pretenses. Have about 10 of their beers on tap including a few special higher ABV one-offs Service was prompt and friendly and all of the employees really appeared to be enjoying themselves. The beer was pretty solid, Menu was typical pub grub and the Chicken Florentine sandwich I had was pretty tasty. They also had bombers of some of their beers for sale as well as crowlers and growlers, I visited the other location back in May and of the two. I think I like this one better, has more of brewpub atmosphere to it.“

“Visited here for Happy Hour while on a business trip in May ’15. Downtown Grand Junction - sat in the outdoor patio out in the street - great atmosphere. Have about 8 to 10 of their beers on tap - some priced lower for Happy Hour - much appreciated. The three I had were very tasty, Waiter was very attentive and had a great sense of humor - did not forget us outside. Had a hummus appetizer - lower price for Happy Hour. Pretty tasty, Worth a stop if in the area.“

“Visited here in May ’15 while on a business trip. Small liquor store in strip mall, nothing fancy. My goal was to pick up a six of local beers to take back home - preferably in cans. I wasn’t disappointed - the walk-cooler had easily a thousand beers from all over the US and the world. All of the western states were adequately represented, Prices were very reasonable - many of the singles were only $1.69. The cashier was friendly, talkative and prompt. The place to by beer if in Grand Junction.“

“Visited here in mid-May 2015 on a Sunday afternoon at the beginning of a business trip. Nice airy atmosphere, lots of outdoor-oriented local paraphernalia hung on the walls. Excellent, friendly service. Food was pretty solid - pretty much pizza was all they really offered with a few other brewpub standards offered as well. Had about ten of their own beers on tap - all of the ones I had were pretty serviceable. Worth a visit if in the area.“

“Nice little place, reminds me of an old breakfast restaurant (Denny’s?). Good service, food and beer. Probably the first time I’ve ever had the server explained all the beers that came in the sampler. I had the pizza, very good.“

“Nice big building near College Liquors. A big U shaped bar in the middle of the restaurant. Lots of seating. Good beer selection of Breckenridge and guest taps, mostly Colorado beers. Good fast service. They just started selling 4oz pours of anything on tap.“

“Lucked out and found this place after a long day on the road. Searched Google for brewpub and this wonderful place came up. We walked in and they had nice live music playing and tvs with sports on. Beer selections were great and not just Breckenridge. Food was the standout as I had a spinach and ahi tuna salad that was scrumptious!“

“Atomsphere was great! Outdoor lawn games, nearby creek, river, and mountains. My hotel had a coupon for a free pint glass which was pretty cool, although the free glasses are different than the glasses they serve the tap beer in. I went to Kannah Creek the day before, and the Edgewater location was def. better. I had the Philanthropy Ale which was cheap and proceeds went to MS. It had great flavor, and was easy to drink ale. Couldn’t go wrong for $3 Food was reasonable as well. I had the Brat with Sauerkraut and mustard. It was a great choice, The brown mustard was a treat, although more sauerkraut would be nice. I would def recommend Edgewater loc over Kannah Creek loc. don’t waste your time going to kannah creek go straight to edgewater!“

“Atmosphere was great I sat outside on a very nice evening. I tried two beers. First was the Island Mesa Blonde it had a great ale flavor with a little bit of hoppiness. Second was the Highside Hefeweizen. I wish I wouldn’t have order it. This is the worst hefeweizen I have ever had. Very lemony flavor. Food is glorified pub food, The chicken in the buffalo wrap was so crunchy and dry I couldn’t finish. Next day I went sister brewery Edgewater Brewery and food was so much better. Same beer.“

“Super helpful staff. For how small they are I felt they had a great selection. Only complaint would b that the were out of a couple items and it seems they need a little better inventory process to keep this from happening. I am glad they were selling enough to run out though :)“

“Yet another one of those unassuming looking liquors store that have an awesome beer selection. They have a large walk in cooler that is just packed with beer from everywhere. Good selections of local and some not so local US beer and a solid foreign selection. Good prices as well.“

“Nice little brewpub in Nowhere, Colorado. Definitely a huge step up over the Breckenridge location, which was insultingly bad. 8 beers on tap, all fairly decent baring the nitro stout which was just awful. Delicious home-made rootbeer. We didn’t get to eat but the food looked like a small step up over typical bar food.“

“Looks like a Chili’s. Good selection of beers but the only flight available gives you the 6 shittiest beers with no subs. Otherwise, 16oz minimum. Not good if you want to try more than 2 of the 31 beers on tap. Wtf! Food sucks too. Avoid.“

“Great little brewpub atmosphere, definitely felt like a college town location. Big menu, but we didnt get food, just beer. Great staff and great decor. Beer not so great, but there were some standouts, even though it just featured typical american brewpub styles. Nothing grand. Definitely the better brewery in GJ.“

“Stopped by while camping in Grand Junctiion, was pleasantly suprised to find a brewpub in the downtown area. Nice on the inside, sem-classy wood/brick combo. Didn’t eat, was just curious about the beer. Unfortunately it waqs some of the worst I had all vacation. Average at best, below average many of their selection. Standard american pub styles, nothing new or exciting. Great staff and venue, just shoddy beer.“

“This place had a nice feel and a good setting. It was a fairly busy night but I had a key spot at the bar. The choices were diverse and the beer was tasty. I was a little disappointed that my glass went dry twice and it took forever to get the bartenders attention even when he was right in front of me. The food looked good but I did not eat here. Seemed like a fun place for everyone.“

“From outside looks like your typical liquor store. I was amazed as I walked into the cooler, beer from all over the world. Their selection rivals almost any other beer store that I have been to. Prices are high, it should be expected, you are in a small town with a mind blowing beer selection. Staff was very helpful, they had knowledge on the different beers.“

“stopped in on 7/20/10. great high traffic location with terrible parking (admittedly, it was busy during late lunch). good cheery service. decent food as it seems to be aimed at the restaurant crowd more than the beer/drinking crowd. the menu is obscenely huge! it felt like a monstrous comfortable diner which happened to have seven beers on tap... all good enough. great schwag!“

“I live in Iowa and wanted to purchase some Santa Fe Pale Ale. I was traveling out west and noticed on the internet that College Liquors carried that product. I called and spoke to the manager, John. He took me on my word that I would show up and purchase a case of the Santa Fe beer. He ordered it and then I asked him to start stocking the Great Divide Hercules Double IPA so I could buy some of that to. John brought that in too. Of course I showed up and was a happy customer to get some great beers that I can’t purchase back in Iowa. As far as the store goes.....it doesn’t look like too much from the outside, tucked away in the corner of a strip mall. Inside they have a ton of beers and an unbelievable cold beer room with a huge variety of beers that will blow you away. I appreciate John helping me out with my special orders and the chance to experience a great selection of beers. Too bad it is so far away from me...hopefully you are close so you can take advantage of it!! “

“A cool little place in downtown Grand Junction. A smallish bar with lots of people around it even at 2PM on a Wednesday. A nice brick interior. 10 beers on tap. We got huge samplers of all of them- plus a few beers. I didn’t eat here. The bartender was really cool and attentive, plus he gave us some free samples. A nice place overall. The had growlers to go.“

“What an awesome place. Right next to College Liquors in Grand Junction. Owned by Breckenridge, they had 10 beer from them. Also about 20 other beers on tap, some Colorado stuff and other popular beers like Guinness, etc. A really nice interior, clean and inviting. The food was great and the prices were really good. I had a few pints and a 10 unit sampler. The samplers were also a good size.“
