“If you’re in Nederland and looking for a great beer list, this is the end all to be all for the small town. Plenty of geeky out of state beers like Russian River, Half Acre, Prairie, Perennial, or whatever has found its way into Colorado distribution seems to end up here. The constantly rotating list has tons of great Colorado beers on as well. Getting exciting and quality beer is a priority of theirs. It was quite slow during our visit, but we had attentive, fun service. Though we didn’t get pizza, the cobb salad and chicken tenders were great. They take the time to slice up fresh ingredients for the salad, which says something. Backcountry is a mandatory beer stop in Nederland.“

“I wasn’t expecting this kind of selection from Peak. It’s an unassuming, old liquor store in a small town. But they had plenty of desireables available. A lot of limited, sought-after bottles from Crooked Stave, Avery, and more where on the shelf. Stuff that is still in good condition, but has long disappeared from Denver liquor store shelves. They had fresh stuff from the likes of Pipeworks and other out of state breweries that make limited appearances in Colorado. Plenty of regional beer is available too. Prices are great and the service was very helpful.“

“Contrary to the previous categorization, this is not a brewpub, but rather a quaint taproom in the lower level of a strip mall. Right upstairs is Backcountry for food and more great beer. We visited on a snowy weeknight and it was fairly lively with mountain folk. It’s not too stark in here, there’s enough decor, a small stage, and a really old school pinball machine in the small space to keep it interesting. We just had the stout and pale ale, both of which were solid enough. Prices are good, but again, we’re in a mountain town. Downtown Nederland is so small that it’s hard to not be in a great location, but this is in a great location. I liked it. Pretty decent little brewery and certainly helps the nightlife in Nederland.“

“First level strip mall location, not the most comfortable or chill spot to spend time. Interior has the look and feel of a basement pool room. Anglo-American beers, tasters available. The IPA was disappointingly dirty, but the Pale Ale was very new world, enjoyably juicy and oily and hoppy.“

“Small little brewpub in the shopping center in Nederland. Bluegrass playing in the background. Nice bar seating and several tables. Arcade machines and pre-packaged snack food. About 9 taps. Service was good and beer was decent.“

“Small area, though it’s a great environment. I’ve had the staff be nice and abrupt, hit or miss on the friendliness. Beer is not that great, though not terrible. They don’t do their own food, though you can bring in food from a local restaurant.. It’s fine.“

“A new, very small-batch brewery run by a friendly husband and wife. Simple, plain little tap room with a 10-12 person bar and 4 large tables. Relatively short tap list (~4 beers), but not bad considering how small their operation is. The beer was good and each was very different in style. Good value on flights and samplers. Hours were quite limited when I went, though they were planning on increasing those last I heard.“
