82 /100 6778 N 79TH STREET Stripmal, duh. Enter to a large C-shaped bar surrounded by cuckoo clocks. Lots of taps. Window open to the outside world with a few outdoor barstools, a handful of tables, but mostly a children's playground. Quieter tables around the coirner of the building. A dozen staff from Avry including a couple of brewers were drinking here, a good sign. Solid lagers but also plenty of IPA/money beers. Permanent food truck. Worthwhile stop. |
74 /100 6778 N 79TH ST Visited at opening on a Saturday. Nice interior with a plain exterior. Friendly service. Decent beer. No complaints at all. Always fun to chat with bartenders and locals. Would be glad to visit again. |
88 /100 6778 N 79TH ST Bootstrap is in this warehouse type building, but it’s in its own unit and there is plenty of space and decor inside. The beer selection was pretty decent, covering a good array of styles. I haven’t had their beer before and I opted for the jalapeno ale which was very tasty. Prices are quite fair here, but they do happy hour all day long on Mondays which made this an excellent value. They’ve got a quaint little outdoor area behind the building which was ideal for soaking up the weather. Pretty cool place. |
50 /100 6778 N 79TH ST Dark garage interior ambiance, exterior is more like "gravel parking lot and auto body shops." Small outdoor patio in the back. Typical American micro selection, bunch of sweet hoppy caramel malt beer. The marzen was so-so and the two pale ales I tried were a letdown. No reason to return. |
