70 /100 VIA CARRETTIERI 3 Nice place that is a bit hard to find since it is just down the main road and they have no signs to see from the road. Unfortunately they only had five taps when I visited and another five taps that were closed. Since it was beginning of April tourist season hasn't set in, so I am sure the rest of the taps will be ready later. |
80 /100 Kalapinta Beer Shop (Beer Store) VIA CARLO ORTOLANI DI BORDONARO, 113 Excellent place to visit if you are looking for local Sicilian beers, They have a whole shelf dedicated to locals and another shelf dedicated to other IT beers. They have two taps as well. A must visit in Cefalu. |
84 /100 VIA CARRETTIERI 3 Beautiful place just off the main street with some steampunk design and comfortable garden seating. Local beers on tap in great variety (Epica, Kalapinta - their own brand). Really a must see place if you are in Cefalú! |
34 /100 FoodSicily (Grocery Store) VIA ARCHIMEDE 9 Visited July 2021. Small grocery store in the center. Nice selection of Sicilian food, poor beer selection (only very few crafts below many wine bottles, mostly macros available). No point to go here, but only for food, not for beer. Loud annoying music (David Guetta and Pitbull hits from 2009/10?). |
68 /100 Kalapinta Beer Shop (Beer Store) VIA CARLO ORTOLANI DI BORDONARO, 113 Visited July 2021. Bottle shop with (unknown to me) Italian craft beers only, for 5 EUR a bottle or even more as well as 2 beers on draft (Kalapinta bionda and rossa) and some beer merchandise and souvenirs. Staff as usual helpful and English speaking. Had only a beer from draft and didn’t buy any bottles. Best bottle shop in Cefalu since there are no others. |
66 /100 VIA CARRETTIERI 3 Visited July 2021. Small craft beer bar a bit outside of the center close to the train station (5 min walk). Decent draft selection of Italian craft on tap. Not many bottled beers. Prices are again high (5 EUR for 0.3l). Staff nice and English speaking. Was even given some crisps for free. Music and other guests too loud. Certainly a good bar since no further good options are available. |
64 /100 VIA CARRETTIERI 3 Rather dark dive bar with some seats outside. 8-10 taps plus a larger number of bottles available. Taps all local, including Kalapinta, bottles mostly Italian craft but some imports. Pints 7 euros. Service was friendly and helpful. Sadly the beers we ordered were sub-par. Nice place to stop, as there is little else in town. |
26 /100 Bottega Tivitti (Restaurant) LUNGOMARE G. GIARDINA 7 Pleasant enough place, but as of now, only does 2 beers - a lager and an amber, both rather dull?? |
90 /100 VIA CARRETTIERI 3 Top place - good selection of Sicilian beers, and friendly helpful staff. They’ve tried opening earlier than 6pm, but no-one turned up. |
66 /100 CONTRADA VALLONE DI FALCO Here from Wales we found this pub (a bit out of town) and enjoyed the beer and food. A good choice of tap beer brewed on the premises in a somewhat Germanic style. The San Salvator was a lovely hoppy strong IPA style beer (stronger than the advertised 5% I'd say!) The food was excellent - lots of it so it's a good place to visit if you're hungry! |
74 /100 FoodSicily (Grocery Store) VIA ARCHIMEDE 9 Visited a few times whilst in Cefalu, April 16, the local beers were around 16 in total, so not bad for the area. The owners and staff were great, helpful on the beer, but I just bought what I had not already sampled. The place is a deli, great selection of cheese and local salamis and olives to enjoy with a beer watching the sun set

66 /100 Bottega Tivitti (Restaurant) LUNGOMARE G. GIARDINA 7 Visited in April 16. Rating this on taking a few beers away. Seemed like a busy and popular place. The beer list was pretty good for local Sicilian brews, however many were out of stock. I still managed to secure 6 new beers mainly from Tari. The bar tender seemed really unsure on what they had and I had to insist he double checked :) most 33cl bottles were 6 euros reduced to 5 for take out |
56 /100 FoodSicily (Grocery Store) VIA ARCHIMEDE 9 A small shop close to the beach. They have locally produced meat and cheese and off course a great selection of Beers from Sicily. Not many other Beers but the ones I wanted. |
66 /100 Bottega Tivitti (Restaurant) LUNGOMARE G. GIARDINA 7 A great bottega in the centre of Cefalù. Nice food and they have some great Italian Craft Beers in bottles. Some belgian beers as well |
52 /100 CONTRADA VALLONE DI FALCO This place gets some points for being one of the very few brewpubs on the island. The beers are not flawed, but a bit too simple, they would need some tuning; the food seems to be above the average among brewpubs (I had a very good piece of tuna); it’s also correctly priced; and service in Italian is good.. Not worth a detour, but worth a stop. |
