“Visited twice, both times for dinner with a group of 19 in total. First time was Friday evening September 4, got there around 8 pm. Second time on Saturday Sep 5, got there at 9 pm.
This is mainly a restaurant and a wine bar, but it also one of the few places in Montepulciano to get craft beer. They have beers (on big bottles) from local/nearby L’Olmaia. We asked specifically for La 5 and La 9, so I know they have at least two brands from the brewery, might be more.
Very nice place, amazing view around the corner, fast friendly service. As of those that had more winethan beer had a great selection of wine. Food was good to amazing. First time ate antipasto of various sorts first, then their huge T-bone steak. The steak was ordered medium but came out with some parts almost blue, but none of us were picky and ate it. Second time had a handmade pasta with a ragu of wild boar as a starter, one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! The main was rabbit, which was good, but didn’t compare to the starter. A great time with wine, beer, food, grappa, limoncello, tea, coffee etc. All in all, if you happen to find yourself around the main square of Montepulciano, I can really recommend this place for the food as well as for the beer!“
