“Small corner store located in the middle of town. Limited selection of craft beers but the highlight is that they are on the Auval distribution list so chances are you might find their beers over here. Owner seems to know his beers but he is not always around.“

“Visited summer of 2012.The look of the place is nice an old polce station.Good decor and great colors. The service was slow and she did not know to much about the beers also not to many choices. The food menu looked great that was my regret not eating there but that is that, as for gooing back I do not think so.“

“Visited for the first time July 14, 2012. Nice little brewpub in a stop over town, a bit like La Fabrique in Matane for food, location and the place it self. Like TaktikMTL MartinT mentioned, the place was an a police station with cells, it gives you that feeling of being in the middle of the 20th century. The food look good, the service was nice but lack beer knowledge. And as for the beers, they were OK at best. If you have to stop here for the night or have lunch, ok, but if else passe.“

“Subpar brewpub in a town in the middle of nowhere. Could be a fun stop in you are looking for a break on your way to New Brunswick, or Baie des Chaleurs towns in Gaspésie (go to Microbrasserie Le Naufrageur if that is the case!). Ambiance is quirky since half the place is an old police station with cells and all (nice), and the other half looks like an unfinished, rough-and-ready garage. Maybe at night the lighting helps join the two sections nicely? Service was very friendly and efficient. They double as a bakery too, but their bread was similar quality to generic sliced bread you get at supermarkets. Not my type, but maybe someone else’s. I had heard good things about the food, but was really disappointed by my dry goat cheese quiche which felt worn and reheated from a previous day. Thankfully, the sweet potato soup was good. The beers are ’brew-by-numbers’ type, just colors, no soul. Some had light diacetyl issues too. All in all, I would not come back here unless I heard the beers, or food, had gotten better.“
