“Visited on a friday for lunch. We were off-season.

Ambiance: Patio was full but there was plenty of seating available inside. Like it has been said before, there’s a family restaurant vibe more than a brewpub one.

Service: Friendly and quick service (we weren’t in the touristical season though). A bit confused though as at least 4 different people came to ask if we were ready to order even though we had already ordered.

Selection: They had 13 of their beers available on tap. Most of them were decent to good. There’s certainly a few I would drink again. Nothing was horrible except the maple syrup amber ale.

Food: Very good pub food at great prices, especially for the area. I had the lunch menu (small soup + burger + dessert) for 12$. Everything on the menu was more than reasonably priced as well. Portions are plenty (read too much) for one person.

Value: 5 oz tasters of anything on the menu for 2$? Yes sir! For the high abv offerings, the price per oz was less for tasters than for the glass or even the pint... weird but I won’t complain. Prices for glass/pint were also good, especially for the area.

Overall: The neighbourhood (Bromont) is an nightmarish touristical centered area so I had very low expectations for this place but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the beers and food as well as the rather low prices.

“Terrace is really nice. Inside it’s quite small but looks good. Service is ok, food selection is ok but good comfort food. Beer selection is ok but nothing really exceptional. A good place to go during summer and hang out on the terrace.“

“Touristy town but the brewpub pulls off a nice balance between tourist friendly and local flair. Super friendly and helpful staff. 13 beers on tap, I’d have 5 again, 2 of which were really good but the rest were below average. The fries were great, a must get. The menu overall is too big with too much going on, makes it confusing. A pretty random place to be but if you’re here might as well go, you’ll find something you like.“

“Stopped there on Friday sept 8th, on my our way to New Hampshire. 7 o’clock lots of empty tables inside, full patio. We managed to get a table for 4 on the patio.Got menus and our first beer within 10 minutes. Another 10 later we get our beers. My pale ale was good, 2 friends had amaple amber beer which was sweet and disgusting.I have been there and the beer is usually decent. The service on another note was pretty lame. took another 45 minutes to get our food, they never came to tell us it was going to take that long. Thy ynever asked us if we wanted another beer even if our glasses were empty. the excuse for the delay was that the kitchen was small. No offer for a free beer for being patient about the wait. the incompetence of the staff and waiter ruined the experience for us and the lame excuse was the cherry on top. will never go back there unless forced to do so. The food was good though. not happy about the experience.“

“Stopped by Brouemont with a bunch load of bros back on BQ2010. More of a restaurant feel than a bar or brewpub for that matter. But the beers were decent and better than average. Extremely nice bartender to put up with us.“

“Nice place, ambiance has nothing perticular, food is great but service is a big flaw. Beer is good but although large selection, few is available.“

“I went to this place once, the beer is good, nachos too. They have a patio, which is great on summer. The selection wasn’t full when i got there, many beer were missing. Overall rating is good, it’s worth to try.“

“Part of BeerQuest 2010 during a snowstorm. More like a restaurant that happens to brew their own beers... albeit decent beers but a really small bar area. That said, we had a blast here being the only ones at the bar and the staff was awesome (and cute).“

“Not so good-looking place in my opinion. I went on Monday and service was incredibly slow but friendly. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their beers, particularly the IPA. I guess that is what matters most.“

“2 minutes of driving from Bromont Ski Resort, and they have, from what I tasted, very interesting craft beer. After a morning of skiing, my friend was very cheering to see they were open for lunchtime. Also, the hot chicken I also had had really big chunks of well-cooked meat in it. So well located place, close to the highway, a very great place I’ll surely visit a lot in the future!“

“Visited on 07-08-09 : Nicely spotted the decor is welcoming looks like a ski cottage. Nice terrace could hang arround there for a few hours. The food selection is great. Service was ok the only downside we add to wait a long time before receiving the check.“

“O.K. people this is a place to go. The beer is great, thefood is good and the service and people are nice. The brew master Patrick, was so nice with talked about his goals as a brewmaster. It was a pleasant visit and a place to go again and again.“

“A somewhat up-town brewpub, though with a tv running in the restaurant, that distracted me - keep the tv’s in the bar area. The service was fine bilingual - until as Oakes stated the waitor got distracted by some girls. 10 taps - and beers in the better end of Quebecian micros. The steak I got was good, though small for the price - the burgers looked better. Go there.“

“Well located brewpub with an excellent food menu. The stilton burgers are recommended. Talented brewmaster who improves and improves years after years. 10 beers were on on our visit which made for an awesome selection in the summer, including a scotch ale, 2 IPAs, a stout etc. Beers are mostly good to great, sometimes approaching excellence. Friendly service, almost too much so.“

“Pub/roadhouse atmosphere, with accompanying food. The portions are pretty good, and I enjoyed my blue cheese and bacon burger. They had a fairly extensive tap list - a rarity for Canadian brewpubs - and this included some solid products. The Scotch Ale was a standout and the IPA and IIPA stand among Quebec’s hoppiest beers. The service was pretty good until the waiter got distracted towards the end by various females. Well worth a visit.“

“I have little to add to what tiggmtl and MartinT have said; this is a very nice place, with something of a ski-chalet look to it (though its nothing much from the outside) and an external brewhouse. The menu was fairly typical but everything we had was excellent, and the beer showed a lot of promise, with the IPA on the verge of excellence. Terrific service. If this were closer to me, I’d certainly try hard to return soon.“

“Nice bright bistro-style restaurant with a very nice curved bar, skylights, loft area, fireplace. Server was very friendly, prompt, attentive and had good knowledge of the house beers. The Brewer/Owner is also often on location and willing to discuss beer in general or his in particular and seemed as interested in constructive criticisms as he was in hearing praise, if not more so. A very humble and down-to-earth fellow. The beers ran through a selection of mostly typical brewpub varieties (Blond, Amber, Wheat, Fruit, Stout, IPA). Some were better than others but all showed great promise and are clean and to-style. The food was very good, with a range of interesting sandwiches and fries/salad in addition to heartier full meals and was reasonably priced. I will be returning with some regularity, I hope, to watch the continued growth of a fine brewer first-hand.“

“Brewer Patrick Dunnigan is extremely friendly and most willing to share his enthusiasm for his brewery. His IPA is spot on and the weizen shows great promise. Russian Imperial Stout is excellent, as is the Scotch Ale, and I2PA. Food is excellent for the brewpub range and not expensive. The sun-dried tomato panini with goat cheese was fabulous. A nice stopover between Montreal and Sherbrooke, this brewpub will offer you a solid experience throughout every time. This and Bedondaine are easily the best 2 brewpubs south of Montreal.“
