“This is a small and very local festival in a beautiful family-friendly setting. I didn't do the math, but I bet every brewer present was from within 100 km or so of the festival; and the brewers poured the beers themselves. At such a small festival they have plenty of time to chat. It's not that small though - 30 breweries or so, plus food booths. The setting is Parc Casimir-Dessaulles, right next to the Hôtel de Ville and surrounded by picturesque historic homes. There is a central playground area suitable for all ages, with extra games added for the fest. Live music throughout. In 2023, $15 gains you entry, or all four days for $35, then you pay for each beer - usually $2-4 for a 4 ounce sample. Beware though, payment types are different at every booth, and some booths only accept cash. Mellow, laid back, but with plenty of beer choices.“

“Large place, several rooms, sidewalk tables and an L-shaped bar. Most attractive, though, was the back patio. Selection of beers on offer is pretty large, many of which are actually can pours. Tasty enough. Food was OK as well. Friendly service. Worth a look.“

“Went there on a week night of winter. The bar is almost empty, kitchen is close. The beer selections is of regular products. The staff at the moment wasn’t well trained and was pretty busy talking to they’re friends at the bar. Had a taster palette and two other drink and left telling me that I will have to come back at a better time for a second chance. Great ambiance and decor, I love the way they put the local history front stage in their decor. Well done.“

“Popular brewpub in St-Hyacinthe, quite spacious with several seating areas as well as billiard tables. They have most of their lineup available whether on tap or in bottle, with a focus on strong and dark beers. Not that cheap considering you drink at the source. Pub food was pretty average (pizza, nachos...) even though wings were fairly tasty. Had a fun time there but not really worth a special trip unless you really love their brews.“

“Best place to have a beer in downtown Saint Hyacinthe. IF you like dark beer, this place makes some of the best.“

“A very cozy bar, beutifully decorated - and very friendly service. The brewer was very nervous about our visit, but no worries, the beers were from average to good - too bad we couldn’t stay for long, since this was a nice place. 6 beers on tap.“

“Nice people. A pity the girl didn’t speak English and my French ain’t that great. But some guy at the bar helped us out. Great looking cosy pub.“

“Nice bottle collection full of rarities parts of the walls. Oldish traditional building, very cozy bar with 2 sections. Intimate and lively. Great service. We couldn’t stay long, but I feel I’d love this as my neighborhood pub. Interesting quality products, said to be variable.“

“Fantastic decor in this brewpub, with great music, too. A good drinking pub. The beers were fairly well made, as well, with some adventurous specials. There is a lot of beer decor and this blends in well with more arty, eclectic stuff. I’ve got to come back and hang out here for an evening.“

“This is the kind of place you really want to sit and drink many pints of beer. Beer related themes to the decor without overwhelming, comfortable seating, pleasant (and attractive) staff that are attentive and fairly knowledgeable and a number of locals that are just there for the beer and chat. Beers are all well-made and range from good to very good with one that was excellent (tap version of MacKroken Flower). I hope to get the chance to return here soon to spend longer than I was able to on my last visit.“

“A fun and comfortable place to hang out and try the house beers. Nothing spectacular on tap, but everything is drinkable with rare misses. Beers are served a little too young methinks, and a little too cold too which makes excellence hard to come by. Always a relax brewpub to visit once a year or so.“
