“Been here a few times, and I found this place really interesting. The local is in a old house off the main drag of Val David, very hippie funk vibe inside. Beers are solid to great, the Barley wine was quite nice. Depending on how busy, the service can be rather impersonal, bordering on rude. For those who are in vaccinated, or cautious, this place is reputed to be covid denier (most patrons will not wear a mask). No flights when busy, but was provided with a few unsolicited tasters. Food menu is extensive and nice.“

“Recent building on the 117. This is the main production facility for Baril Roulant. It just serves as a Boutique for their cans and bottles, no tasting possible at this time. Plenty of parking. Friendly service.“

“Visited on September 16, 2021, in the afternoon. Located about 2 kilometres north of the original pub in the town's center, on Highway 117, south bond, in an opend area with two other buildings, one of them looks like the brewery. It's basically is the brewery, were they fournish their two pubs (including the one in Mt. Tremblant) and the inn, they do have a shop with some merchandise. But other than that, you can find most of their beers in speciality stores and there is not tap room, limited tasting. So if you are in Val-David, go to the pub!“

“At the Inn, the atmosphere is an open and relax wooden up north ski Inn. I was there for lunch on a week day, the staff on service at that moment was new and didn’t know too much about craft beers but he said to be really interested to learn, but I felt that the learning curve will be quite steep. Service was professional and fast. Food was on the greasy side but very well executed. A nice dry and refreshing saison was missing on the menu for cleaning my mouth after this tall and tasty bison burger. If your stuck in the area, it’s the best place around. Not a long beer selections but a good one. Some beers need some rework but some were good. It’s promising.“

“Grocery store with a basic craft beer selection from Quebec, some rare beer on occasion. And of course all the macro breweries.“

“With no kitchen, really small, warm and cosy but claustrophobic place. Service was friendly. Not a long beer selections but a good one. Some beers need some rework but some were good. It’s promising.“

“Visited for the first time November 3, 2012. That it will be good for beer lovers between Saint-Jérôme and Mont-Tremblant, because there was nothing except a beer store. Just off highway 117 on your way to the village centre, you won’t see the name but you will see a barrel as a sign (Rolling barrel). From the outside, it doesn’t look much but the inside is so funky, a combination of organic, psychedelic and esoteric, the place is small but country hippy homy place. 21 taps, but only 13 were active, all breweries of Quebec with one of them, a hybrid of beer and wine. They do have another beer in bottle only, a blonde ale. Nice small food menu, all organic, I will try something next time. As for parking, its street only. They have live music on some night, this place should be very active in the winter and summer time. Just a cool place, very different from other place in Quebec!“
