62 /100 Le Brittany Pub (Bar) 7 PLACE ARISTIDE BRIAND It’s a British pub with Breton edges, the latter provided by Coreff Ambrée proper real ale on handpull. A few other local beers too. Definitely British, with fish ’n chips and a passable curry with pilau rice. |
78 /100 L’Autre Rive (Bar) LIEU-DIT RESTIDIOU Another Jim van Gent special find, up a track off the D789. A bookshop that happens to serve about 15 local beers and a couple of others, plus snacks that include a Breton version of a cream tea among others. A perfect bit of Breton nonsense in a forest. |
76 /100 L’Autre Rive (Bar) LIEU-DIT RESTIDIOU A wonderfull cafe/bookshop set in a small hamlet in the forest near Huelgoat. Definitely best to park in Huelgoat and walk the 45-60 mins along an enchanting path to reach this place. All the beers from An Alarc’h in botlles plus a few other locals. Good local snacks including dried sausage smoked over seaweed. |
