| 30 /100 Chateau de Chambord (Beer Store) CHATEAU “Not sure if the gift shop of a French chateau qualifies for inclusion on RateBeer but, well, it's here and I've visited it, so I will rate it. There's actually 3 different gift shops within the chateau grounds, two on entry amongst the cafes / restaurants and one in the chateau itself. The latter is more expensive than the ones at the entrance, with 6 different beers from two local breweries at around 3.95, the one at the entrance offering the same for 3.20, so best to buy on return. Having just cracked one beer from Brasserie Guillaume now, I can safely say you wouldn't be missing much if you passed on these. I wish I had.“ |
