“Visited August 2023. Review based on a couple of medium-sized shops in central Paris and compared against similar-sized Carrefours and Auchans nearby. Monoprix seems to have a higher quality food offering than Auchan or Carrefour, with some nice bakery goods and a better range of cheeses, fruit & veg etc. They also offered some local and regional specialities. Sadly the better range/quality on the food front didn't seem to be matched in the beer section - whilst Monoprix has all the usual French macro brews, it definitely has less craft/local beers than its competitors. Service was what you expect in supermarkets, and prices were maybe marginally higher than Carrefour or Auchan. To sum up; it's the best of the three French supermarket chains that I've visited for food, but the worst for beer.“

“French department store with a food section that is like Waitrose in style and scope. They offer veggie and organic food and and quality breads and veg. Beer selection is OK. There are generally a few local French breweries on offer - usually position in a separate place from the regular beers. They have French, Belgian, some UK and some US. The non-French stuff is common everywhere, so only really useful fro French stuff, and on the whole offers the same as the big supermarket chains, but less overall range, so given a choice of CarreFour or MonoPrix, if it's beer you're after, go for CarreFour for choice and price. If you want decent food, particularly veggie or organic, then select MonoPrix.“

“Supermarked chain with several locations around town. A few locals, standard belgians and some British and us beers. Brewdog, chouffe, Camden, Kolsch, Duvel to name a few. Didnt ask for any service, but they smile when they take your money at the check out counter. Running a 3 beer for the price of 2 campain at the time of our visit.“

“Es un supermercado clásico y para mi encuentro el servicio pesado. La selección de cervezas es básica, a lo menos para algunas cervezas son los precios decentes. Pero el personal falta de formación y es muy vulgar y no saben tratar muy bien a la gente.“

“Beer section is sizeable, if rather common. Scored a boot glass once upon a time. But why add this? The area around Republique doesn’t seem to have many "beer stores", and this is a pretty decent place to get beer, if you’re staying in the area. It’s a long walk to Cave a Bulles, but you should do that for a really great and "rare" selection. But Monoprix has beer, food and a park just a bit to the South.“

“Opposite Le Grand Cafe on the heart of the main commercial avenue which the trams plough down the middle of, this is an uncomfortably busy supermarket from the Monoprix chain and you can expect to queue for quite a whilst whether your buying one or many items. My advice is to buy everything you want on your first visit and save yourself the misery of a return trip. The beer selection here is not too different from most of the other supermarkets in the area, fairly bland but decent enough to be able to sample a couple of dozen macro brews from France if you’re not already familiar with the main brews available in the country. Includes both canned and bottled beers.“

“Not more than 200 meters from main station, ordinary supermarket with average selection. Mainly european mainstrean beers (Tuborg, Carlsberg, Heineken). Many people inside buying alcohol, food, etc...so the whole place is pretty chaotic and not worth of visit. Found only one new beer for me (Tuborg Skøll)“

“Un supermarché bien pourvu et fréquenté de touristes et locaux. Le coin a bière, non réfrigéré, offre une variété convenable de bière internationales et européennes. Le personnel n’est pas formé a conseiller les bières. Un bon dépanneur. Plutôt cher.“
