42 /100 Le Relais De La Route Du Cidre (Beer Store) 6 AVENUE DE LA GARE Visited while in the town. It’s down an alley and has a kind of interesting outside with a big concrete apple crushing wheel. Decent cider and calvados selection. Unfortunately the person working didn’t have any interest in selling me any of it. |
64 /100 La Cave de Beuvron (Grocery Store) 26 PLACE MICHEL-VERMUGHEN Small shop with some nice local ciders and poires. More calvados than anything else. Nice service. |
56 /100 La Cave de Beuvron (Grocery Store) 26 PLACE MICHEL-VERMUGHEN Everything in this beautiful little town is quite expensive |
64 /100 Le Relais De La Route Du Cidre (Beer Store) 6 AVENUE DE LA GARE "Office du Tourisme" easy to find and to park ! Yes, checkpoint for "Route du Cidre" ! A nice sample of ciders of "Pays d'Auge", some perry, calvados of course and pommeau. I bought there 10 different ciders. Friendly staff ; I didn't ask for advice. |
62 /100 La Cave de Beuvron (Grocery Store) 26 PLACE MICHEL-VERMUGHEN In the historical center of the charming village of "Beuvron-en-Auge". Small shop with local specialties. A few ciders and poirés. And Calvados of course. But not a lot of choice. Ok service. |
66 /100 Le Relais De La Route Du Cidre (Beer Store) 6 AVENUE DE LA GARE This is the information point for the Normandy Route Du Cidre that links 15 predominantly small farmhouse cider producers along a 40km circular route. Here you'll find maps & flyers about the route and the producers and English-speaking staff who will answer any questions. More pertinent to this rating is the fact there is a plentiful stock of cider, perry, calvados and pommeau from producers featured on the route, if you can't be bothered driving around. I should also note that the village this is situated in, Beuvron En Auge has a 'Beau Village de France' appellation so worth a wander round with your camera. |
