“Visited on a monday evening. I was surprised to see questionable looking characters throwing up on the floor early on a monday evening. The guy who had to clean up the trail of puke told me this happens at least three times a week. Thankfully, this place had some interesting beers to offer otherwise I would not considering entering because of the crowd and the fact that the place looks like cheap casino. Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised to find, besides plenty of cask ales, a decent selection of craft beer, including some Six Point and other US beers. Overall, the beer made the experience fairly enjoyable, so if you ever have the misfortune of having to spend time in Slough, go here for some decent beers.“

“Visited around 3pm on Friday 30/10/15 on a mission to pick up some fest ticks ... I was not let down! Located In the centre of the town, a straight forward 5 minutes walk from both the bus and train station, the M&S is of the old school JDW format ... shop conversion, longer than it is wide, rather dark and littered with career drinkers. That said they had 7 fest biers from their 10 hand pumps and the six i had were all in great condition. One old boy at the bar even bemoaned the lack of his regular old speckled hen and was told some of the regular beers had been taken off to make way for fest biers ! Service was good for a Spoons and my thirds were presented to me on tray and numbered up. Zinzans Drop from the nearby Windsor & Eton brewery supplemented the fest biers on cask. Overall a pleasant surprise, good service, good choice and good condition. Not a place to linger but certainly worth checking out for ticks.“

“Ambiance and decoration is what you’d expect from Wetherspoons. Good selection - about 10 cask ales, also usual Spoons selection in fridges. Had a feeling there weren’t many interesting places in sSlough, so I guess this one is not a bad choice.“

“Best place for real ales in Slough. They have 10 casks pumps (plus 12 other taps with lagers/ciders) that are changing almost every week. They hold special events like meet the brewer and real ale nights during which ales prices are discounted. service is nice, food is fine. If you found yourself in Slough, stop there, it’s worth a visit.“
