“An awesome village tap room and a real pioneer in the local craft beer world. The place is modern and newly renovated, with seating indoors for 20+ people and an outdoor terrace too. There are 9 taps which sometimes host cask as well as keg beers. There are 20+ bottles / cans too including the latest Little Earth beers on my most recent visit. Super friendly owners. Well worth a visit. I wish this were my local!“

“Theydon Bois' review pretty much sums this up. Really friendly little place, very popular with the locals, and with a good buzz about it even on weekday evenings. Decent range of breweries and styles on keg and cask, and a rare outlet for MoogBrew (albeit in bottles only). The ability to buy thirds is as always welcome. The chap running it is very friendly and enthusiastic. Nice little place, deserves to continue to thrive. I'll definitely visit again next time I'm on one of my all-too-infrequent visits to Bourne End.“

“Nice place run by a nice guy! Called in en route from moogBREW to Wycombe. Place is quite compact (a former hairdressers salon) and was good and busy on a Sunday mid afternoon. Offering 8 interesting craft/keg beers, similar number of box ciders, and a fridge of beers along with wines, gins etc. All taps available in thirds (not just as part of a taster paddle). Vinyl LP collection and record player in situ, music posters on the walls, friendly locals enjoying good conversation. Everything you'd want really from a micro-KEG-pub. Enjoyable visit, wish I lived more local.“

“Visited over lunchtime on Sunday, 25/06/17. Located in the centre of the town, about a 5 minute walk from the station, KEG struck me as a micropub plus in that it served more than just cask ales but in a small space that would seat 20 or so people on the inside. Smart and clean decor with a number of different sized tables and levels of seating, stools, chairs a leather sofa etc - quite a mish mash but ultimately a good vibe and clean appearance. At the business end there are 8 beer taps ... 6 keg and 2 cask, a couple of local options on offer including a new brewery for me - Stardust from White Waltham, XT, and stuff from further afield including Fourpure, Anarchy Brew Co and a few others. In addition to the beers on tap there are 8 bladder bag ciders on offer although a few had kicked after a busy Saturday. Beers/Ciders available in thirds, halves and pints. Allied to the tap range there were 30 or so bottles and cans in the fridge and on a shelf. Again some lesser seen local brewers on offer ... I picked up btotles from Fishers and Moog Brew. KEG also does growler fills on any of the tap beers and have their own growlers for sale. Food is bar snacks only such as crisps, nuts and pork scratchings. As I mentioned, a micro pub plus ... there is also a small gin menu and a wine list so something for everyone plus hot and cold soft drinks are available. The place was doing a good trade with maybe 5 or 6 groups of 2 or 3 folks, many of whom were sitting on the outside patio in the form of bench seating on the pavement. Service was prompt and friendly although they did managed to mix my tab up with another table which I realised when my bill came back at £10 more than I expected, although they were apologetic about this. Overall a nice little Micro Pub + and definetely somehere I will revisit. “
