68 /100 114 KINGSMEAD ROAD, Fullers tied house.with 6 handpumps - obviously mainly Fullers (including seasonals) but usually at least one guest. Very friendly staff, and a lovely tradtional pub. But it’s always been a bit dead atmos-wise when I’ve been there. Quite a long way from other decent pubs if you’re on a crawl. Still - nice if you fancy a quiet evening with your mates. One of those old-style pubs I’m glad is still around, well run and with well-conditioned beers. |
70 /100 114 KINGSMEAD ROAD, The Havelock is a local’s pub on a residential back street in High Wycombe. It is one of many Fullers tied houses in the area but stands out due to the high quality cellar keeping. Full range of Fuller’s casks and some bottles, local crowd but pretty friendly. Not a terribly interesting pub to look at but they have a nice summer beer garden. Average pub food.
