“Atmospheric pub situated at the top of the Lake District Kirkstone Pass with whitewashed walls - you come here for the location rather than anything else, there is cask ale here but the selection isn't too extensive or exciting, the pub is traditional and appealing though. Its car park is on the other side of the road as are some picnic benches where you can enjoy the views if the cloud cover isn't too low.“

“This is one of those places where you have to put beer selection bit aside. This inn located just by the road offers spectacular views which can be enjoyed while sipping your pint at wooden benches across the road. Interior of a traditional pub with lots of wood, low ceiling and working fireplace. Feels cozy and warm. Beers selection isn’t spectacular, but you’ll find three local cask ales. If you’re visiting Lake District Kirkstone Pass and this inn are worth visiting.“
