| 66 /100 Pennington Hotel (Bar) MAIN ST “Visited on 3rd June 2017. Hotel just a couple of doors down from the Inn at Ravenglass, the bar is toward the rear of the hotel. It’s modern, clean and tidy. Had 2 beers on handpull plus a handful or Tractor Shed bottles in the fridge. Beer quality was decent and had different beers on to other places, service and prices decent too. Reasonable enough place and worth a look in.“ |

Large pub just a couple of mins from the station and facing the river estuary, has a small patio outside that proved popular in the sunshine, a collection of rooms inside, decor was smart. Beer range had a good mix of Cumbrian micros on cask plus boxed cider. Service was good, the food was excellent and really good value. Staff were friendly too. Definitely the best place of the 3 I tried.“ |

Situated on the platform on the opposite side to the steam railway this venue has several rooms, a large bar area with seating allowing you to watch the trains plus a patio out the back. Decor is OK, beer range wasn’t overly great with only a couple of beers from Micros, most of the cask ale was from Macro brewers, quality was good, prices Ok, service OK. Not the best venue in Ravenglass but certainly handy“ |
