Ale Way (Bar)
AXMINSTER STATION,
“Visited for 3 or 4 hours on the afternoon before my wedding, Friday 10th September 2021. Part of the old station buildings on the westbound (Exeter platform). Small single roomed bar downstairs with a couple of stools and 3 old flip style cinema seats ... there's a live departure board by the bar to keep track of the trains. 9 taps on this visit so obviously expanded a little since the Wingman first called ... 5 keg, 2 cask, 2 cider plus some bottles and cans. Ciders and casks all local Devon, keg all micro within 40 or so miles including a Utopian lager plus a few kegs from New Bristol. Service was super friendly from the husband and wife team. They asked if we could head to one of the upstairs rooms as our party outgrew the bar area and were happy to bring the pints up to us. Great decoration, largely railway and map themed. The place began to fill up during our stay with a few regulars in the bar area and a few more parties bagging tables upstairs. Top place ... welcoming and friendly, good choice on tap, couldn't recommend it highly enough.“

Ale Way (Bar)
AXMINSTER STATION,
“Micropub in the station buildings at the West end of the station. Bar and a few seats downstairs, 2 rooms upstairs with more seating and outside patio. Decor is really smart with a heavy local railway theme. Tables are named after local stations. 7 taps, 2 cask beers, 4 keg and a cider plus 12 bottles/ cans. Only bar snacks for food. Beers and ciders are local. A couple of the cans are from a bit further away. Prices are good, staff were super friendly. Lovely little place.“
