“Just round the corner from the Rock Inn and handily towards getting back onto the Coastal Path is the King's Arms in Georgeham. This is a little more basic, olde world than it's near neighbour, but quite atmospheric inside. The food is very popular in here. The ubiquitous St. Austells are in here too but there was an Exeter Avocet on hand pull, not at it's best unfortunately. The wooden terracing on the first floor is a wonderful place to contemplate and sun yourself.“

“This was the first pub I came to in Georgeham as my walk came down Buckland Road (No Rights of Way nearby!) onto Rock Hill. It is beautifully set in an idyllic village setting with a patio area either side of the lane. It was open at 11:30am so happy days. The beer range is limited as one would expect in a small village but there was an excellent pint of Otter Amber to be had, the others were pretty standard St. Austell and Sharp's (In Devon!! please). Sitting out the front is a lovely spot with not much world going by. Lovely place.“

“On the main road through the town, which requires lots of places places as it’s a small country road both before and after it, the pub directs you to the local car park for Georgeham if you require parking, although this is not far away. As it’s right up against the road there’s very little ground floor space for outside seating, but a couple of tables do exist outside its door, however they’ve built a wooden veranda against the pub on the first floor where a lot more seats and tables now exist, although the view is still of the road and a very large hedge so there are no views to be had, but it’s a nice enough space if the weather is good. The upstairs of this village pub also has a dedicated restaurant room, but you can eat anywhere. The downstairs is very traditional in design, low lighting, low ceiling, soft furnished, wooden beams, and wooden furniture, and very cosy. The bar in the middle of the back wall isn’t too long but packs in a row of ales, a couple of local keg ales and ciders, with some bottle cider also in the fridge behind. It’s never going to wow, but is a pretty decent selection for the size of this village in this remote part of Devon.“

“One of two pubs in village of Georgeham, with this just off the main road above it, about 50 metres away from the King’s Arms. It’s at the end of a row of houses with a central doorway leading into an open plan front area. The small bar is against the back wall on the right with seating in front, with the greater part of the seating on the left hand side, all suitable for dining as food is served here at lunch and in the evening. I believe there’s a more modern restaurant area at the rear, but I didn’t get that far. It has a lovely traditional pub atmosphere with wooden beams, wooden furniture, and a dimmed light look. There’s several tables out front and across from this a small car park. There’s five hand pumps with a mix of local and nationally available ales, although a little pricey.“
