“This is the 2022 GBG entry for Honiton. It is a smart restaurant at the west end of town that has a hand pull in operation and a few kegs. I understand it is owned by the family that also own Otter Brewery, so it's simple to work out what the beer will be. My Otter Bitter hadn't been kept well unfortunately. Not sure what the local Camra group see in this place myself.“

“It say much about a town when the only real show available is a Wetherspoons, imo. This is a large building just out of the main centre, one of the better pubs in the chain with a cost interior and large patio, next to a car park. It's popular but seemingly short staffed as the tables were left uncleared during my visit and seagulls did most of the cleaning. Now I tend to avoid Wetherspoons almost totally, but this you cannot due to there being nowhere else worth going. Reluctantly I gave my money to the Tim Martin cause, I understand he is in a spot of trouble these days, he has it coming in my book.“
