“A large farm shop handily situated on the westbound A30 a few miles west of Shaftesbury. On the food front there's loads of stuff from local producers, and decent deli and butchers counters. For Reatebeerians head to the fridges at the opposite end to the entrance. There are 60+ different beers and ciders from a wide range of producers in the local area - so get your Dorset, Wiltshire and Somerset rates here. The producers I scribbled down were Frome, Wriggle Valley, Cerne Abbas, Piddle, Glastonbury, Fine Tuned. Cider Purbeck, Twisted cider, Blackmore Vale, and Plain Ales. The ones I bought all had a long best before date on, so I assume they have a decent turnover (although it was quiet on our visit). There's also a restaurant but we didn't try that. All the staff we spoke to were really friendly, and it was a pleasure shopping here. I'd definitely return if I was in the area, and would recommend it to anyone passing this way.“
