80 /100 9 Anchors (Bar) 2 THE FRONT Enjoyed our visit last month to this microbar on the front at Seaton. Very popular and like a lot of micros difficult to find a seat, but great atmosphere and we enjoyed our 2 beers from Taylors, Ram Tam and Golden Dawn. The seating is something worth visiting to see said to e made from driftwood off the beach and the bar a Welsh Dresser. |
56 /100 Marine Hotel (Bar) 5 THE FRONT Large bar area on ground floor of the faded Victorian era Marine Hotel (built 1900) located opposite a play park on the seafront at Seaton Carew, Co Durham. Main bar with 3 cask ales on handpull (incl. Camerons Strongarm) plus had 2 Cameron keg beers Motorhead and Trophy Special on tap when visited. Areas on either side of the central bar with tables & comfy chairs. On the same block as the 9 Anchors micropub, worth a look in. |
62 /100 9 Anchors (Bar) 2 THE FRONT Micropub located on the main road along the seafront at Seaton Carew. Cosy inside with interior of salvaged wood and stone effect. Main bar has afew standard keg taps and 3 real ale handpulls including local beers (had new Hartlepool Brewery Crafty Monkey on when visited).
