“Nice Italian restaurant/bar in Camden market. The latter can be quite busy but there were still available tables in the restaurant. Come here for sampling the Xyauyu barley wine variants.“

“Cool place, just a few steps away from all the Camden happening. Smaller outside seating place and a bit more place indoors. Nice and informative staff, 10 taps available. Tasty beer and a great stop during the Camden shopping time.“

“Visited October 2023. Got the chance to pop in here for a couple whilst my Mrs & daughter were shopping in the market. It's situated in the new Hawley Wharf development - the place that feels like an attempted and rather corporate-feeling imitation of the neighbouring real Camden Market. Inside it felt a bit gloomy and dominated by the queue for the loo. There are 10 taps at the bar (their own brews only, no guests) and they'll sell them in thirds. The two barmen didn't seem particularly interested in serving but I got my drinks eventually, if hardly with a smile. I took them outside into the surprisingly warm October sunshine and things cheered up considerably. A chilled but happy crowd of customers were spread over a range of outdoor tables and canalside steps, chatting and singing along to a rather excellent covers band who were performing outside. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, and was rather reluctant to leave when the Mrs & daughter turned up. So... mixed feelings about this place (and for that matter about the beer). Without the nice weather and the band I would have liked it a lot less than I did.“

“10 taps with their own beers available in different sizes, including thirds, as well as flight options. Located under the arches with indoor and outdoor seating. Very busy both here and all over Camden town on a Saturday afternoon. Friendly, smiling service. (Visited with Finn, 16.03.2024).“

“Nice spot in an arch by Regents Canal, a stones throw away from Camden Market. Flight of six thirds for £15, or £2.50-£3 individually. We tried 4 of their beers, standard was mundane to fairly decent.“

Baladin Camden (Restaurant)
UNIT 724-728, NORTH YARD, STABLES MARKET, CHALK FARM ROAD
“Nestled right in Camden Market, this place is pretty great. Primarily an Italian restaurant, but also a tasting room of course. They had 7-8 more standard Baladin beers on tap. But the real draw are the barrel aged Xyauyu beers. They had 7 of them available for 100mL pours for £9: expensive, for sure, but given the price of the bottles, this presents a nice opportunity to try them all. Very friendly service—almost too outgoing and talkative, but the guy who served us was very passionate about the Xyauyu beers. Definitely worth a visit if you’re seeking out these particular beers as I was.“

“Very large place with 10 house taps. 1/3 pints available for £2.50-3. Beer styles are pretty ordinary and pedestrian, with nothing standing out, and unfortunately a massively diacetyl-infected WCIPA that I had to trade in for something more palatable. Friendly service. Far from a place of interest, but a nice spot.“

“New Brewery Tap right next to the canal in the heart of the Camden Market area. There is outside seating overlooking the Camden locks but it was much too cold for that on a drab January afternoon. It was quite cold inside too, there is seating downstairs by the bar, from where you can see the brewing kit, there is also more seating upstairs. They had 8 beers on during my visit, all their own, I was told that there is a changing list and recently more experimenting with sour beers. People wander in to queue for the toilet, so a visit there can take an age. New brewery for me so well worth my visit. Friendly service and tasters.“

“Taken here by my son, Ben. Old School Camden Pub and tourist trap. One cask (London Pride and undrinkable), six or seven keg lines, all well known. This isn't worthy of being on the site.“

“This Spoons is located close to the canal and near the Camden Lock foot bridge. Quite modern, long barroom with 10 cask ales, half of them rotating. We came here for breakfast and a few beers before visiting a few beer destinations i Camden as a part of our anniversary trip '23 revisiting our London pubs from 2003-2006. The traditional breakfast at this place was a bit more expensive that in other spoons, but £6.40 is still good value. Polite service, nice view over the canal, and a decent half-pint of a Pheasantry ale(Visited with Finn, 02.10.2023).“

“A presumably newly developed/redeveloped section of offices and commercial units that go alongside the canal. Noticeably busy quarter on a sunny April day... would hazard a guess that it wad mainly tourists. As it was such a nice day most people we're sat outside but there was a small constant queue for the two loos. The downstairs, where I sat is quite small. A bar on the right, stairs up to more seating on the 1st floor/loos on the left. However the rear wall then has a window in it giving a view of the brewery. Modern clean decor. The friendly guy who was manning the bar.was interested to hear that I was specifically looking to tick their beers off... turned out he was the owner so wanted to know how I had heard of the brewery. He then introduced me to the brewer. Nice little spot. The Porter was decent. Suspect they are going to mainly produce lower ABV beers due to the touristy location.“

“Visited at the start of a short break in London. I went to check out the Back to the Future exhibition nearby, while my partner went for a wander and found this, so sat outside waiting for me with a cider. I have to say I completely forgot they'd opened a bar here so was a nice surprise. Quite a nice looking space, occupying an entire corner right by the Amy Winehouse statue. Very friendly, talkative Italian staff. Definitely has an Italian feel about it, with fresh pizza being served in a restaurant atmosphere inside, and a hatch to the outside where you can buy draft / bottled beer and make use of the handful of outside tables. Around 6 or 7 draft, and similar amount of bottles. Core range covering an array of styles, including a cider, with a couple of IPAs I didn't recognise. Very happy to see some of their more limited 75cl bottles available to takeaway including some Xyauyu. We got a wax-sealed Mama Kriek. Overall a really pleasant stop. Will definitely call in again and try the pizza.“

“Stumbled on this pleasant surprise on 10th March 2022. Very friendly team running this establishment which has been open for two years in London. Was delighted to find Baladin beers available in London having discovered them while on holiday in Rome in 2018. I enjoyed a bottle of "Super Bitter" and a fresh and tasty pizza margherita at this visit. Will return, to sample the draught range, and for more bottles.“

Baladin Camden (Restaurant)
UNIT 724-728, NORTH YARD, STABLES MARKET, CHALK FARM ROAD
“Visited December 2021 at Saturday lunchtime. I was surprised to find this tucked away at the quiet end of Camden Market, beyond Sports Direct (and while I'm on that subject, what eejit allowed a giant Sports Direct to be built in the middle of this hallowed home of tiny independent traders?). It was surprisingly quiet - there were only half a dozen or so customers inside, but we sat at one of their outside tables as we preferred to watch the world go by. We had their pizzas, which were small (lunch portions not dinner), but with innovative, fresh, quality toppings - possibly the best pizza I've had in fact, lovely! All the beers are from Baladin - about 20 different beers (and one cider) spread across tap, can and bottle offerings. This includes 5 of their barley wines sold in 50ml measures. Service was excellent, and food prices were reasonable for the location; drink prices maybe a tad high (although I guess their beers are difficult to get elsewhere in the UK). I would definitely consider going back if I was in the area (it's a far more relaxed experience than the pandemonium of the nearby streetfood market!).“

“The Two Tribes taproom and brewery are located in a section called Campfire which is a part of Tileyard London community of independent artists and businesses. Interesting community with different cultural activities, modern and trendy. In sunny weather we sat outside (heated) of their taproom and enjoyed a few 1/3 pints of their beers. No other guests quite early on a Monday afternoon. Polite service. About 15 minuets walk towards Camden from the King's Cross railway station. (Visited with Finn 22.11.2021).“

“Large shabby chic pub just off Camden Market, more famous for music than beer. Pleasantly cool inside on a baking day but unfortunately the beer range wasn't worth hanging around for while they sorted out the Covid nonsense. Pretty standard nationally available beers. Close to the market but no need to divert to if it's beer you are looking for.“

“This is a gastro type pub, bar just off Regents Canal after walking through the London Zoo section, quite a pretty walk from Marylebone. It was a roastingly hot day on our visit so we elected for a place in the shady courtyard, which is very pleasant. The pub itself is large with 2 main sections, diners and drinkers mixing in. Covid restrictions are in place and observed. The beer range is small with 2 nationally available beers on hand pulls plus mostly national eurofizz on keg but with one guest keg which is why we lingered. Nice enough place, shame it is so restricted on the beer front.“

“Typical Drafthouse decor. Not particularly busy early evening on a bank holiday and deathly quiet. Tend not to frequent these places much and this one seemed to have a more boring range of beers than usual (Camden, Fourpure, Brixton, the Brewdog house beers) Struggled to pick three beers for a flight and then accidentally picked a Brixton beer I'd already had. May have been a bad day but not pla ning to return.“

“A short walk from King's Cross station so a good place to visit before a 4.5 hour train journey! Few tables inside but a couple of benches outside. 15 taps but only 10 seemed to be on. No idea how often beers change so it may not be worth regular visits.“

“A really nice brewery taproom. Somewhat remote, but not too bad. Located in an industrial estate. Pleasant, modern interior with the seating area surrounded by the brew kit. Some tables set up outside as well. Decent selection of beers on keg, with a bunch of cans as well. Friendly service, fair prices. It's not the kind of place I would visit often, as the beer is somewhat average, but folks who live in this area (where there isn't a ton, beer-wise) will probably love having this spot up and running.“

“This was my second Brewdog bar, after Stockholm Kungsholmen. I love the look of the bar, and the guys behind the bar were really nice and attentive and loved that I came from Norway for a visit. The taps were a fairly regular brewdog/guest list but the fridge, when I was there, was full of many goodies. I also had a really nice pizza and really enjoyed my visit to BrewDog Camden.“

“In an open plan room occupying a large space in one of the warehouse rooms that now make up Camden Market, this is a pleasant space to spend some time, although devoid of tourists on my visit given the aforementioned had closed a few hours earlier. The drink selection isn't too impressive. I did find a macro craft keg ale here I had yet to sample, but it was one you find all over London! The rest of the keg selection was also very familiar stuff.“

“Opposite the old TV AM studios, this is a traditional urban pub with a tiled exterior and pleasant heritage styled interior that's certainly worth a look, but the same couldn't be said for its beer selection. “In a corner building on the next block east of Camden High Street if you're coming into the suburb from the South, anyone who knows Brewdog bar might find this one surprisingly small, especially given the eclectic and popular tourist area that it is in. It's quite a cosy Brewdog bar for it. The usual changing beer from this brewer and guests can be found here. There's a downstairs area for extra seating which wasn't busy on my visit (although the main bar was), and it lacked atmosphere because of it.“
