54 /100 Sir Thomas Gerard (JDW) (Bar) 2 GERARD STREET Visited 9/2/2019. JDW breakfast stop en route to the Fleetwood beer festival was a must and this one was perfect as it is just a short detour off the M6 and was just over the county border into GM. Sadly it wasn't the best of JDW experiences, not much beer wise and slower service than you'd normally get. But the visited served its purpose. |
60 /100 Sir Thomas Gerard (JDW) (Bar) 2 GERARD STREET Not the best of JDW’s. Service was a bit slow, and one of the beers wasn’t in good condition. We had our breakfast as usual, which is always nice, and they had five new, local beers for us as well. |
66 /100 Sir Thomas Gerard (JDW) (Bar) 2 GERARD STREET Regular JDW. Always good value here, and Iove their breakfast. Had three new beers here and I could have had more, if we had wanted to stay longer, but we were travelling to a beer festival, so had to move on. |
70 /100 Sir Thomas Gerard (JDW) (Bar) 2 GERARD STREET At the top of the main street which is also named after the person this pub is named after. The bar is set back from the front area and is decorated in a traditional pub style, a notch above the standard Wetherspoon style, and its a more than cosy enough place to drink. At the rear is an attractive garden area. Ales are on two rows of pumps. |
