“This place has morphed a lot in the las couple of years. The beer range regularly includes brews from 5 or 6 Bristol breweries simultaneously. the food has grown up a bit. There is live music, an outside area - garden of sorts. One of Bristols better beer bars, just up the way from the Bristol Beer Factory, with whom they are acquainted though I am not sure it is a straight ownership deal.“

“Interesting place this, I visited on a Sunday lunchtime and it was full of families, prams, it's a little canteen like with a touch of cafe. There is a long, ugly galvanised metal bar running along the side then a stage at the far end. It's a little stark and stripped out, but worth a look. The beers are mostly Bristol Beer Factory.“

“Visted on Sunday afternoon (7th Dec) this cafe bar has a range of Bristol Beer Factory beers on cask, keg and in bottles plus on guest beer. Ambiance is a mix of families and drinkers as Bristol City were at home. Did feel a little like a playschool at times, place was really busy but service quick and food good and reasonably priced. Beer in decent nick too. Tried most of the range available.“

“There are two BBF sites here, the brewery and Mark’s Cafe on Durnford Street, and the Tobacco Factory theatre and bar just up the street on the junction of North Street and Raleigh Road. The Tobacco Factory is the larger and sells pretty much the full range of BBF on tap and in bottles. It holds Factoberfest in its backyard, a festival that offers an excellent range of well chosen beers, including one-off BBF specials. Mark’s Cafe is at the front of the brewery and is run by the bakery next door. Drink wise it offers BBF and Severn Cider in bottles, plus and excellent range of lunches and cakes - pizza day on Thursday is particularly good.“

“Visited during Factoberfest, great brewery with some outstanding beers, Independence being one of my favourites, just wish I had more time as there were a lot more beers I wanted to taste. The food I tasted was very good, and again this brewery/pub is on a busy road. I will be back!!“
