| 82 /100 Lower Lode Inn (Bar) BISHOPS WALK “This 2018 Good Beer Guide pub is a very friendly very popular pub on the banks of the river Severn. From Easter there is a foot ferry operating from the Tewkesbury side across to the pub. There are caravans here and despite the weather, there was a crowd in tents enjoying a birthday party, and along with the bikers there was a lovely friendly atmosphere in the pub. Seating outside and plenty of grassy areas down to the river. Good beer choice and we enjoyed Great Western Flyin' Try and Donnington On The Nose.“ |
