| 70 /100 Old Crown (Bar) 17 THE GREEN, ULEY “Pleasant country pub (which offers bed and breakfast) overlooking a picturesque Cotswold valley. The Cotswold Way path runs nearby and the pub is often busy with hikers. The Uley brewery is just down the road and the Old Crown effectively operates as the brewery tap. Three Uley beers were on offer when I last visited, alongside guests from Severn Vale, Wye Valley and Palmers, the ones I sampled all being in good condition. Food was good quality and the portions were generous. Throw in some friendly service and this makes a pub well worth visiting.“ |
