“Nice drive through windy roads and small villages gets you to this nice little pub with detached brewery. Boxes and boxes of spent grain, just waiting for the cows to turn up. The pub itself has several rooms, lots of nooks and crannies. There were two large tens set up as well, not sure if that’s a regular thing or there was festival coming up (I think it’s the latter). Three of their own beers on offer as well as two ciders and a perry. Lunchtime snacks were tasty. Very friendly and chatty staff and clientele alike. Great place.“

“A fantastic and cosy pub with a friendly ambiance. The beers are all served direct from the cask and usually 4 are on offer at any one time. The food is good value and tasty. I love going to this place.“

“Just what a English country pub should be like, an idyllic setting for a summer evening - beer on gravity behind the bar; tables outside in the sun; rabbits grazing in the surrounding fields; rattles and hisses of steam from the brewery next door; and the beer’s good too. A little off the beaten track, but well worth seeking out.“
