“Visited 19/01/17. Relatively small pub. A central bar with wings to the left and right. Set up for food but there is a sign outside welcoming people who want a pint. Three local breweries on tap (Andwell’ s Red Mist Ale, brewed for the chain, Hop Art and, I think, Hog’s Back), some semi interesting lager options and bottles. Part of a chain but good to see that beer is not just a macro afterthought. Modern rustic interior, with split levels and a wood burner. Staff were friendly and knew the regulars. Quiet but warm ambiance. Well to do locals. Would drop in if passing or for food (which looked and smelled nice) with the Mrs.“
