54 /100 TOMS LANE, LINWOOD Visited on Star Wars day may the 4th 2022. Review based on the fact they currently are not brewing, although still have the kit and signs up for the brewery. Large open plan feel with plenty of outside and inside seating. Dog friendly and pony’s in the car park. Only 3 wadworth beers on my visit. |
68 /100 TOMS LANE, LINWOOD I am pretty sure I came here around 8 years ago and was completely oblivious to the fact that they had a brewery. Modern food focused pub but has a decent enough array of beers with the Redshoot offerings and Wadworth seasonals. Certainly more interesting than the usual Doombar or whatever. Friendly staff who were happy to give me tasters as I was driving. Stopped on the way back from a family holiday and was pleasant enough that the Mrs didn't object to bringing the boy here. And another Hampshire brewery tick down.

66 /100 TOMS LANE, LINWOOD Large country pub situated in a lovely rural setting, towards the edge of the New Forest. Good sized car park, with campsite alongside. Very good food, great service. Their beers were in good shape without being spectacular. Lots of seating outside for warmer weather. Enjoyable visit overall. |
54 /100 TOMS LANE, LINWOOD Hughe pub with a nice terrace round thempub. Near a camp site in a nice park. Took a small detour on the way. Friendly bartender. Tasted some local brews. |
52 /100 TOMS LANE, LINWOOD Place is rural & nice, but all 3 brews are nothing special. |
64 /100 TOMS LANE, LINWOOD A few years ago i wanted some mini casks and these guys were willing to fill some emptied for me. Nice old fashioned country pub with horses loose outside ... decent if small selection of beer, decent price and nice sorounds, worth a stop in |
52 /100 TOMS LANE, LINWOOD Despite the fact that I have lived no more than a 30 min drive from here for over 3 years I only just visited on a recent camping trip. As SilkTork says atmosphere is like a Brewers Fayre/Beefeater/any other pub chain trying to be fakely traditional and focusing on food sales. The beer was not bad, but worth visiting as it is the only outlet usually. I was disappointed with the food - despite the fairly exotic menu shark, unsual fish aswell as more traditional items - it seemed to sum up some of the worst faults of English cooking: soft veg, bland sauce and overcooked meat. |
64 /100 TOMS LANE, LINWOOD A roomy pub. Atmosphere is a bit like a Brewers Fayre or Beefeater. The food is decent, the place is clean and comfortable with a certain degree of charm. We enjoyed our lunch there. The big draw, of course, is the beer. |
