Eagle (Bar)
CLITHEROE RD
“Large pub which is hard to access from the main A-roads in the area. You have to come via the outskirts of Clitheroe through Barrow or through the town of Whalley. It’s worth the trip though as The Eagle is a huge single room building with a low-ceiling that has both bar and restaurant sides, although like most pubs of this type you can eat anywhere. If you’re just supping then the open fireplace might be your choice of seat which are all leather backed with hunting lodge style furniture. Beyond here an uber-comfy piano bar area exists including the said instrument proudly at one side. There’s five ale pumps here and you’re likely to find one from the local Bowland Brewery at any time. There’s also a deli shop attached to the pub and a large car park.“
