| 66 /100 Ship Inn (Bar) 4 WHEAT LANE “An old coaching inn on a popular canalside walk just off the main Leeds Liverpool Canal, it has a very large car park opposite the pub on the lane that connects to the main road into Burscough from the east. There's several rooms to the place, mostly made open plan now with the bar in the middle of the building. Food seems to be king here and you'll probably need to reserve a table if you want to eat here, but it has a fine rotating selection of half a dozen mostly locally produced ales from microbreweries. Traditional in style it has a very wooden interior design.“ |
