“Seafront bar quite close to the Eric Morecambe statue. Almost a boutique bar in design, its large open plan ground floor room has a bar in the middle of its side wall. Unfortunately they've ditched cask after a post-covid rethink, so it's mostly macro keg now, although there was two craft ciders available in a selection of about a dozen taps.“

“Opposite the clock tower just off the main road as the buildings begin to curve into the side road. A smallish one room music venue with a tiny stage and mixing desk, there's only a few tables and a large standing space in the the front area. The 'L' shaped bar has beers taps in all its various sections and has a number of brews available from Lancaster Brewery. There's also a restaurant upstairs.“

“Along the road from Bare Lane station just before it ends at the seafront, or a pleasant 24 minute walk along the coast from Morecambe if the weather is good, this place is now a micropub call The Little Bear, serving five local or regional cask ales and some keg in a pleasant one room venue with large people watching windows at the front. Friendly locals.“

“Not one of the greatest JDW’s. It’s location does little in its favour when there are a number of better places on Marine Road. Place looked closed when visiting this evening about 9pm, the few people inside creating no atmosphere except for the chap complaining at the bar that he’d waited an hour between receiving starters and main course and wanted his money back. Beer selection was ok but the place just didn’t appeal. Sorry Eric - better to go see the statue.“

“Situated just off the sea front close to the clock tower. Warm welcome, friendly locals. Had 4 ales on, with potential for more. An ok selection of bottles and other taps but nothing extraordinary. Food was good as was service. Nice place to visit.“

“Situated on the sea front opposite the Eric Morecambe statue. Offers 6 cask ales plus selection of fairly standard other drinks. Food menu looked decent though didn’t eat there. Has upstairs dining with sea views (depending on the tide).“

“A high street Wetherspoon in the rather downtrodden seen-better-days resort of Morecambe. Given some of the other dingy looking pubs in the area this one does well. It is situated on two levels with the bar downstairs and is light and airy. There’s a fair amount of room and two rows of ale pumps are on the bar. It’s named after one of Britain’s much loved entertainers, although he used the town’s name for his surname rather than the one above the door.“

“Huge range of some 500 wines, 100 whiskies, and 150 beers & ciders that keeps this place continuously interesting. A good range of bottled beers from the US, English seasonals, and a few rarities you wouldn’t find in most other places. Staff is nice and knowledgeable. They also sell confectionaries, some bread and extras for parties. All that’s missing is cheese.“
